My Points Amazon gift cert?

Hey all,

I want to redeem my My Points for an Amazon gift certificate. However, I need to order the item from the site within the next week. My question is, do the MyPoints Amazon redemptions come via e-mail or postal mail?

If it's postal mail, obviously I do not have enough time since MyPoints takes forever to send out their gift cards. The site says the code will be mailed, but that seems bizarre for an e-cert.

Hoping somebody can clarify this. Thanks so much!

I just ordered one on 6/29 and it says fulfilled 7/11 so hopefully I'll be receiving it soon.

Wonder if they do XBox points the same way? Just redeemed some of my points last night for some XBox points and I'm hoping that it is an electronic certificate.

I run into this a lot with MyPoints...I'm never thinking far enough ahead. We were doing some traveling and I would've loved to have redeemed some of my points for a Marriott certificate, but I didn't think about it in time. Bummer! Guess I'll probably do Amazon codes instead, since I'm always buying stuff off there, I just like to look and see what rewards give me the most $$ for the least amount of points.
