Yes, I'm a planner and have my itinerary written out already. I wanted to get some feedback to see if I'm missing any good restaurants. Five of us(inc. our three boys; ages come next year: 15, 18 & 21) This is where we plan on eating...
Liberty Tree Tavern
Coral Reef
LeCellier
San Angel Inn
Garden Grill
Mama Melrose's
Sci-fi
Yak & Yeti
Rainforest
Boma
Sanaa
Wave
Chef Mickey's
Whispering Canyon
Cape May Cafe
Any thoughts on places we may want to try. We've done all of these with a few exceptions. Any help would be appreciated.

I do have this on my list as an extra. We've eaten here before back in 1999 and loved it. My boys are way older now and I don't think they'd appreciate the characters. I'll just get this-:sad2:

Coral Reef We ate there a few years ago and the filet was great!

LeCellier Have had lunch and dinner there and enjoyed both very much

Mama Melrose's We looked forward to this place forever and we were very disappointed in the food, no flavor at all and served lukewarm. And the worst, no bread! How can an Italian place not serve bread??

Boma Had breakfast there twice in April and it was THE best! Going back in 2 weeks!

Chef Mickey's Had dinner there for my b-day, great character interaction but the food was terrible!

Cape May Cafe Have had many breakfasts and dinners here and both are awesome!

As long as you have Boma on there, you're good to go as far as I'm concerned! :rotfl2:

Do you mean Aug. '09 ? If so, you're way ahead of me, hoping for the same trip (Aug.'09). #1 DS going to college fall of '10, so we're hoping to go in '09, $ permitting ! The only thing we know for sure, well, I guess there are a lot of things we know- stay at Poly, eat at, among others, Marrakesh, Calif. Grill, Boma, LTT, and eat with an Imagineer And we'll stay 10 days around the 13th. Good luck !! :thumbsup2

You're list looks good to me. And don't feel bad about planning ahead, my sister and I already have everything picked out for our October 2009 trip as well.:thumbsup2

One of our favorites is Kona Cafe at the Poly :goodvibes. Their prime rib and filet are awesome.....and they have great dessert, too ::yes::

Yes, I do mean 2009! And I have a son going to college for his first year this August. He still wants to go with us when we go next August. I know I will be changing my itinerary several times. Who knows if EMH's will change. This would change what park/restaurant we do on what day if it does.
We plan on staying at CR, BCV, and the AKV if available. I have a friend who is a DVC member but none of the villas I want are her "home" resort. So...here's praying that both the BCV and AKV are available the 7 mths. out she can book for us.
Here's to all of us early planners!!:thumbsup2
