I'll be booking our FP's in a few weeks. Here are our plans for our HS day, Saturday May 7th. Me, DH, DD9. No interest in RNR or ToT.

Thoughts? Thanks!

9:00 - GMR, TSMM (FP+)
10:00 - VOTLM show, ST (FP+)
11:30 - Frozen show (FP+)
12:00 - lunch at ABC
1:00 - BATB show
1:30 - Star Wars Launch Bay (maybe...we are not huge fans)

I would do something like this:
TSMM
TSMM FP+ 9:15
GMR
10 or 10:25 VOTLM
ST FP+ 10:40
Lunch at ABC
12:30 Frozen FP+ 12:05
2:00 B&TB
Launch Bay

Check FP+ times on Touring Plans. First TSMM FP is 9:15, first ST FP+ that doesn't overlap will be around 10:40 but you might be able to move ST up once TSMM is used. Same for Frozen FP+, if you can move ST up you should be able to move frozen to the 11:30 show and have lunch after but for the sake of initial scheduling of FP+ they make it difficult to stack them close together.

Oh I didn't know that I wouldn't be able to book FP+ one right after the other. A question...can we see the 12:30 Frozen show and make it to B&TB at 1:00?

No meant to be 2:00 B&TB. Fixed it. Generally you are not going to be able to do one FP+ at 9,10,11 due to the way the times are set. For example the first TSMM FP+ is usually 9:15. That means your next FP+ can't be scheduled until 10:15 but the way they set the FP+ times the first available FP+ after that time for ST in this example will be around 10:45 so there is a built in gap of an extra 30 min. I noticed later in the day it's easier to close the gaps and stack them closer but having trouble getting it in the morning hours for any of the parks. Also the times are not static meaning they are not the same everyday. One day it will be 9:15 and the next day it could be 9:20 so for planning purposes I am just penciling in the times I want and will fill in the gaps once I have the FP+ scheduled. You might decide that the 11:30 Frozen show is what you really want but you wouldn't be able to schedule ST until after Frozen because the FP+ times will overlap.

Check out this to get a better idea of FP+ times.

For the attractions which you plan to do, FP+ would only be really useful for Toy Story and Great Movie Ride (and since both are Tier 1, you can't get FP+ for both).

If you don't care to do Toy Story more than once, then I would to Great Movie Ride at Rope Drop, and then use FP+ for Toy Story (either after GMR or later in the morning).

But you could get two rides on Toy Story with minimal wait if you go it first at Rope Drop, then do Great Movie Ride, and then do Toy Story a second time with FP+ (after GMR or later).
