Ahw those are beautiful.

My mom is a photographer. So I'm use to looking at pictures and having to ne completely honest and say what I do or don't like about them.

Usually professional pictures don't look that well when you have black and white with a splash of color. But how you did it, does look very well. It doesn't look cheaply done.

You have a great talent! Photography is so much fun!

My mom just made a new photography blog. It's storytotellphotography.com
If you wanna go look. It's not that big because it was just made.

She does a lot of nature and of me and my siblings. She has appointments made for after the first of the year for other kids. So I can't wait to see how well she does working with kids other than us. :)

beautiful.
One suggestion on the second one. I have no idea what kind of gear you have but i tell people usually if your using a lens like a 28-135mm take advantage of the length you can shoot up to and back up a little. The next time the bubles would be in focus too. I love photography as well. If you have a flickr you should add me http://www.flickr.com/photos/diznefreak/

I'm going to respectfully disagree. I like that the bubbles aren't in focus. The depth of field is really good in that one. If you get a Flickr add me too, theres in a link in my signature to my site.

Also, when you say they are in galleries, what do you mean by that?

yea thats wut the photographer i work for said about the bubbles i personaly never got any negitive feedback about the bubbles normaly ppl love it. and wut i mean is i get asked to have my pictures in shows like they just deck out a gallerie with photography and people go to the shows to look at them. that spacific pic has been in 4 galleries so far in the matter of 6 months i think.

These are beautiful!! I think I would have only made the bubbles in the 2nd colored though. but that's only my thought, you don't have to. Keep it up! :thumbsup2

Oh okay. I was just wondering because a bunch of my work is up in the local gallery by me, and I'm allowed to do whatever I want with them. As the photographer, I own the rights to do what I wish with them. :confused3 So yah I was just wondering why you couldn't as well. Anyway, I like them.
Oh and I would consider making the whole bubble one all in black and white. The selective color is good, but I think it would look even better in all black and white.

WOW!!!! I LOVE THEM:) All i have been wanting for christmas this year is a SLR camera. I'm in love with taking pics. It's all i want to do. the only thing is is that i got a camera last christmas from my mamaw and i love it. My mom has really considered getting that for my "santa" present.

Anybody have a suggestion for the camera i get? Like Cannon Rebel or anything like that? Any advice you can give on lenses and computer programs? I want a color splash program. Just any advice will help for a first time photographer:)

Will post more pics when i get home lol:P

I shoot with a Canon Rebel XTi, an older model, about 3 years old. The XSi, which is on the market now, is a great entry level SLR camera. With college next year and going into photography I'm probably upgrading to the 50D soon, hopefully. Anyway, as for lens, it will most likely come with a kit lens. If you are just starting out with an SLR the kit lens will do; it's gotten me by for the past two years while I was starting out, it's only now as I find my niche that I'm finding I need different lenses. As for computer program, do you run a Mac or PC? Mac has iPhoto which is pretty decent for beginning, but if you are going to be serious about it, I'd try to convince your parents to get you Photoshop. I'd start with Photoshop Elements (about $90) rather than jumping right into Photoshop (about $700), unless you can find the torrent online, which I did. Photoshop has a huge learning curve to use it correctly, btw. If you need anymore info or want any help or anything feel free to PM me. There's a link to my flickr site with most of my work in my sig so I'm legit, I swear. =)
