My oldest is starting her 3rd year of preschool wednesday..

she will be going 3 days a week, and I will have to take both to fun-nastics(gymnastics class) on thursday...
DIS time will be at a minimum....

Next year DD goes to kindergarden & youngest goes to preschool...
They grow up so fast...

They sure do! When DS was first born (6 years ago) people told me to enjoy him because he would grow too quickly, at that time I was like "yeah, right", but it is so true. Hard to believe my little guy starts first grade on Wednesday.

Yep, they do grow up way to fast.....one day kissing a BOO BOO.....the next watching them play football (first scrimmage of the year was sat. ( could you imagine trying to kiss a BOO BOO on the football field!!)

Our dd will be off to college this coming weekend for her freshman year joining her brother who will be a senior.

We are making 4 trips to Mpls this week...90 min. drive.

I sure do miss the pre-school, community ed classes, lunch at McDonalds, take an aft nap days, LOL.

Yes, they do grow up so fast. My oldest dd is a senior in college. Next year I will not be sending her off to school any more. That is a weird feeling. I never thought it would go by as fast as it did. My youngest moves to Fort Collins October 1. Then both dd's will be on their own.

BTW, Shep, your girls are adorable. I love the pic you posted on Beauty's thread, absolutely tear-jerking, cute!

Yes, they do grow up fast. My oldest just started first grade and youngest is in her last year of pre-k. The youngest wants to go to kindergarten so bad! She asked me again today coming home in the car when will she be grown up? I don't ever remember wanting to be that grown up at 4 1/2!

DS went to his 1st yr preschool 2 days/week when he was 3yrs 3mos
Then his 2nd yr preschool 3 days/wk when he was 4yrs 3 mos

I hear ya, shep! Kelly started PK-4 last week and, lucky for me, I didn't need to use the 'sunglasses' trick.

Is she in her 3rd year because of different age cut-off dates?

Mandy's birthday is in December so she'll be 5 this year & she was able to go when she was 2 1/2, and I took her to a different place than where she is now, which is like 30 minutes away and they allowed them to go at a younger age..
Cassie could probaly go, but I will not be able to deal with all the running of 2 kids to preschool on top of fun-nastics...

Shep - since DD will have 3yrs of preschool she will be wayyy ahead of her K class - I found this out with DS

Unfortunately we are already finding this out....she sometimes decides to just take a nap during class Her teacher does try to add to things for her, but since there are 24 in her preschool class it is difficult to add for just one student. Atleast she is working on her social skills.
