Hey Everyone!!!

Why is this "non-traditional?" Well, let's start off my PTR by giving you my back story. I'm 26 years old. I've been married to my wonderful husband for over 2 years now. I grew up going to WDW on a fairly regular basis considering I live in New England. My obsession has definitely increased since my trip back in 2008 with my aunt, uncle and cousin. They have AP's and go on a VERY regular basis. As my college graduation gift they paid for my tix, food, and hotel stay for a week with them. I just had to get myself there. (Clearly, I made that work!) It was my first time really seeing the World with other Disney fanatics and ever since I can't stop "planning", dreaming, reading about Disney.

So back to reality. My husband had been once as a young adult before he met me and didn't hate it but wasn't hooked. (He also only went to the MK for one day. That's not a very big exposure for someone's first trip.) So for our honeymoon we went for a week. While we had an amazing, busy trip, my husband was still not yet HOOKED! So we went again the following March of 2010. This time we really took our time since he had already seen everything on the honeymoon. We stayed at one of the DTD resorts and had a BLAST! We really soaked in the Disney magic and he felt it I think for the first time.

Well, it's been almost 2 years and I NEED to go back. My aunt, uncle and cousin camp at FW every Xmas and they have been trying to get me to join them the past few years. Wellllll.... my hubby and I really talked about it this time. He came to me after and said that while he spends a lot of time/money golfing, biking, and skiing which are his three loves, then it is only fair that I get to do the thing that I love! DISNEY! So yes, I am going down to FW on my own to hang out with my favorite extended family for Xmas! People can think we are wierd to spend xmas away from our spouse but we honestly don't care. There will be more to celebrate with each other. Plus, we don't have children yet, so why not?!

These are the plans...

My Disney Family (aunt, uncle, cousin) will have been there for a few days already.

Friday, 12/23

I'll go to work for the morning. Get out and catch a bus to BOS. I have a direct flight that should get me into MCO by about 9:30pm. I decided to get there this night rather than lose half the day flying on Saturday morning.

Either take ME or get picked up by Uncle and head to our home at Fort Wilderness!!!! Settle in and get a good night's rest!

Saturday, 12/24

EMH Magic Kingdom. I've never done rope drop at MK so I hope to do that. I just want to get FP for SpaceMtn as I didn't get to ride it the last few trips with it being refurbished and the lines being too long. Hang out here for the morning. Grab a lunch, then head back to FW by around 2pm.
Dinner at the Wave.
Watch Wishes from the Contemporary/or FW beach, depending on time.

Sunday, 12/25

Enjoy the morning at the campsite. Probably have breakfast at Trail's End. Slowly, we will make our way to HS where we have an early dinner ADR at 50's Primetime! Hang out at HS for the night since it is EMH Evening!

Monday, 12/26

This is a leisure day. (Reminder, we are there for the busiest days of the year. Notice that we aren't spending a lot of time at the parks?) We might do some swimming if it's not 32 degrees out, resort hopping, DTD shopping, hanging out etc...There also are EMH evening at MK, so if we didn't get a to enough the other day, we'll head in for a few hours...

Tuesday, 12/27

Sleep in, hang out. Head into Epcot after lunch. We have dinner ADR at Rose & Crown for 7:50pm. I've always wanted to watch Illuminations from the R&C and I'm PRAYING that this works out. I know it's a long shot to be on the patio for this but I'm going to keep trying to get out on it.... We'll hang out at Epcot for the night where there are EMH Evening.

Wednesday, 12/28

Open for debate... I have to be back at MCO for a 6:30pm flight back to BOS. My hope is that there'll be a HUGE snowstorm and I'll get delayed a day. Wouldn't that just be horrible???

Please tell me if these park plans are doable... I haven't been to WDW for Xmas since 2003. I vaguely remember the horrible crowds and having to close parks due to reached capacity...

So that's it! In the meantime, I'm trying to come up with great gifts for my Disney family. Ones that I can pack in a carry-on. Also, I want to create 20 or so little gifts to give to CM's that really go out of their way to make our holiday special and magical. They are working during the holiday season :santa:and to me, that's a pretty big deal!

Thanks for reading!!!!!!!
