My DH says I am too picky - I have these nubs on the edge of the letters but I may have solved my own problem - What a novel idea - my blade appears to have stopped about half way through the new cutting!!!

You may have to keep waiting - with summer school in the am, bed is lurking. Promise to come home after school, about 1 pm, put a new blade in and try again. The rest of the page looks pretty darn good, if I say so myself -just those darn nubs!! Night all. Caroline

Caroline, are you turning off the machine each time you change your cartridge? I never used to and sometimes my machine would stop cutting midway. I read that I needed to turn off the machine when changing from one cartridge to another. Another reason why I got the Jukebox, supposedly I won't have to do that any longer.

i'd love to bring my mom. she does not scrap, but she loves to buy scrap stuff!!!! and she loves to look at everyones stuff on here with me! she would be totally into it. i'll have to see how she's feeling that day. it would do her wonders to get out!

She is more than welcome to come. She can look at what people are working on, read a book, a little of both, whatever. I've had people come and knit or do needlework.

For all those in the nearby area, this is an event not to be missed. It is the most amazing private car show you are ever going to see. And Dad Blink's barn is just a New England wonder. I have never, ever in my life seen a barn as clean as his.

If you are looking to do a nice foliage ride, BAMB's and her parent's house for the open house is the place to go. All significant other's will truly enjoy it, and love you for coordinating this play date.

What i should have said was, the vague outline of the letter could be seen but no actual cutting took place although the paper did move. Hoping this is my blade and nothing more. Going to turn it on now, and see what happens. Can i exchange the blade from my little bug to my expression?

Finally, here it is. I am so bad at putting in pix. The next page says Country - and there are added pix. Apparently my blade needed some cleaning to work more efficiently!

I should have said the letters are from the "Shorty/holes" cut at 2", the heart border is cut from the "Borders/Tall" and I am so happy to have 2 pages completed. No doubt I will be adding more embellishments, but I was not wanting you to stay up late again waiting to see this page materialize, nor could my tired old body have withstood it!!!!

I think your blade dial in the housing needed to be adjusted. I usually keep mine at 6, I will switch to 1 when I want to see which way the cut will go on the mat. That way it will show the cut but won't actually cut.

The layout came out great!
