Sorry to hear about the loss of Sugar. We lost our cat a couple of months ago and it's not easy.

What a pretty pup. When we brought our lab home at 11 mos. he got away from me and bolted across our road. Our neighbor just missed him by seconds. He also dug his way out of our pool fence many times as well as jumping through the screen on the porch. We ended up putting in an invisible fence and it has worked really well, now he stays in without his collar or when it is not even on. He doesn't know the difference. He has broken through a few times, but rarely in the past three years. Just want to say sorry for your loss, I hope you are not blaming yourself any more. Maybe you can rescue another dog in need of a home soon.
