My new Panasonic TZ5 has a great feature for Disney

Just got a new Panasonic TZ5. So far it's a lot of fun, especially the 10x zoom and hi-def video.

For this board, I just want to point out one feature that is perfect for Disney - the "clipboard". Basically, it allows you to quickly take a 1-2M picture directly to the internal memory. These are kept separate from the rest of your pictures and are very easy to call up.

Every morning we take a bunch of "informational" pictures. One of each kid (in case they get lost we can tell people exactly what they were wearing or show them the picture) where we parked, etc. The clipboard is perfect for these pictures. I can also see using it for taking a snapshot of ride-wait-time board, etc.

Thanks for the info. I've been looking at this camera as a replacement for my Canon A540. The clipboard feature sounds really useful.

I just ordered this camera this weekend and I'm eagerly awaiting its arrival. I'm hoping to have it before the 4th so I can try out fireworks pics. I got a gorillapod to go with it.

The clipboard feature does sound very useful. Especially for things like taking photos of photopass card numbers, room/ticket card numbers, etc. in case they get lost.

How are you finding the camera otherwise? recycle time, battery life, photo quality, etc.?
