My new favorite thing is to put the song from Kilimanjaro Safari on in the car, roll down the windows, and watch for wildlife on my way to work, pretending I'm at Animal Kingdom.

I think that means I either need a Disney trip or therapy, asap!

I guess a bunch of us need theraoy, because I think it's a cool idea too! My only question is where can I get the song from Kilimanjaro Safari? I can't wait to try it!
BTW, Disneyaggie, if DS sees you on the streets of Dallas (he lives up in that area), he'll think what you're doing is perfectly understandable-after all, he was raised by a DIsney-nut mother, so he's used to these behaviors!

There's a thread on this board called something like "Do you want to download some theme park audio?", and it's chock full of Disney music goodness! The song is called Hapa Duniani, and it makes me stupidly happy! There's about a minute and a half at the beginning of the song that they don't play on the safari, so you might not recognize it at first.

Now I just wish I spoke better Swahili so I could figure out what they're singing about! (Um, I *think* they're singing in Swahili, anyway!)

We listen to Disney music every time we get in the car, a mix of ride music, and classic songs.

I gave a kid a ride home today (a four year old kid) and he asked me in the most discusted voice "why do you always listen to cartoon music?!?". I asked him why wouldn't I?

Not to hijack the thread but at work when we all start to look "peaked," I pop in my Disney CD (can't remember if Vol I or II since I have BOTH!) and play (LOUDLY) the Mickey Mouse Club Theme song!!! -- perks us all up as we shout DONALD DUCK at the appropriate moments!
