I've been given a basic Polaroid digital camera (about £80) as a birthday present. It seems to do everything I need for now but it bleeps every time I push a button.

Change the zoom - bleep.
Reveiew a picture - bleep.
Try and take a sneaky picture of my daughter - bleep, bleep, bleeeep.

I've checked the user guide (on paper and cd-rom) and can't work out how to stop it.

Does anyone know how to stop it bleeping?

Ohh I symathise, this technology makes me feel so inadequate:hyper:

I hope someone CAN help you, unlike me;)

I E-mailed Poloroid and they replied that this bleep is a feature. It can't be turned off.

It's such a shame as the camera is just what I need in every other respect. But I tried to use during a school display and nearly disrupted the class.

I certainly won't be able to use it at weddings either.
