My Nephews Band Will Play The House Of Blues!

Just found out my nephews band, Matt Pond PA, will play at The House Of Blues on Friday 10/7! I knew they would be in Orlando on their US tour but didn't know about DTD. They are the opening band for Liz Phair. If you are at DTD on friday night, go see them. Wish I could be there. They are great! Of course I'm a bit prejudiced!

They did the Conan O'Brien show last night before taking off down south. So strange to see your own family member on TV! I remember the day the little squirt was born and now I'm reading his name in Rolling Stone! Not that I'm proud of him or anything!

Wow, that is so cool! What instrument does your nephew play? DS is in college for music performance, but he hasn't been on TV yet (except jumping around on "The Price is Right"-does that count?). I can certainly understand you being more than a little proud. DS was a musical entertainer at DL last summer (Disney Internship), performing in the park every day. I was so awed watching him perform when I was there, I just can't imagine how it would feel to see him on TV! Good luck to him and his band.

Thanks! He's the drummer. Been playing them since he was 5 years old. Kudos to my sis who encouraged him and let him practice! He's worked hard and gone hungry to find his dream and looks like he is finally on his way. Tell your son that anything is possible if you want it bad enough. Good luck to him also!
