My National went down again today!

After staying the same for three days, my rate for June 1-June 6 just went down again by $12.00. I am now at $94.77 TOTAL Emerald Aisle for 5 days!!

I see the contract number on the Entertainment Coupon is different from the one for Priceless that is giving such a good rate. Will that be a problem? Also, how do you apply your Emerald Club number to a reservation made prior to signing up for the club?

You can use both the Priceless number and the Entertainment number.

Where is says "Contract ID" put in this number: 6600330
Where it says "Coupon ID" put in this number: 10009123

The contract ID is the Priceless number.
The coupon ID is from the Entertainment Coupon.

You probably could call National and have them apply your Emerald Club number to your current reservation.

I figured out how to get my Emerald Card applied....I just "rebooked" the reservation and cancelled the other.

As far as the Contract/Coupon numbers. When I printed out the Entertainment coupon, there is a Contract ID of 5066914 and the Coupon ID of 10009123. When I put those numbers in, the price is somewhat higher. I'm just concerned if I can use the Priceless Contract ID as the entertainment coupon says "not to be combined with other discounts or promotions."

I used this combination on my 5 trips last year and used it again this January 2005, along with the printed coupon. No problem whatsoever. I was going to post and tell you you need to log in as an EA user to make your ressie, but you figured it out for yourself. When you set up your profile did you realize you can choose frequent flyer miles OR reward points. We use the reward points. You get points for renting and once you get 7 points you can apply a free day to a future trip. You get a point for every 4 days you rent. Last year they ran a special and doubled the points for spring and summer. I have my fingers crossed that they will do that again.

Usually they don't ask for your card. Only once in a while. Last week they asked for it, and I assume because part of it didn't print (I didn't realize I had run short of black ink in my printer I use for web printing).

I just checked my May ressie and it went down from $134.52 to $119.98 for 8 days. Now that's the old prices I remember!

I used the printed coupon (I printed mine in color) on my January trip and did not have a problem. I bought the book last year, found I never used it, except the national coupons. I was never asked for the card on 5 trips last year, so this year I was thrilled to find the link. When I get to the kiosk, I hand them the confirmation, coupon, the hang tag, EA card, CC card, and DL, so they have everything they need.

I added on a day to my reservation but due to the rates dropping a little bit again it only went up $13.64. Our rate is $261.26 for 16 days!

I just checked mine and it went down again from $141 to $104 for August.
