My name is Travelmum and I’m a Aussie/Kiwi/Disboardoholic!!

I feel so bad that I didn't do a trip report - however, 24 hours after we landed (after 28hours+ travelling!) we ripped up our entire tiled floor, ripped out our kitchen and our two bathrooms, reinstalled all of the above and repainted most of our house. It was a good six weeks of mania... noise, mess & chaos, and working around absent bits. Now it would be very hard! I should try some time though.

I'm a Disaholic too ::yes:: If I hadn't stumbled across the Dis in February planning our trip would have been a lot harder & possibly missing some key Disney magic :)

Reading TR's is awesome & yes I do the wake up check of the ap right after my fb check :rotfl2: finding like-minded Disney addicts allows me to live through you until I get to go (22 sleeps!) and I already want to a WDW trip & a cruise :lmao:

 Me! I also check frequently. Even if I'm not posting I'm still checking up on everything. I find it harder to post from the iphone/ipad as its harder to type long responses but gosh they make it easy to check on the go. School pick up, swimming lessons, dance.....

I am so weak as I am addicted to checking these boards and I don't even have a trip booked! :scared1: I work from home and hence I am on my computer most of the school hours of the day. However, every hour or so, I find myself opening a new window to just have a quick check at the Aussie/Kiwi Disboards. Sometimes I try to do housework too so right now, work is quiet, and I decided to do a vacuum and floor mop. I got the vacuum out but then the phone rang. That distracted me so, when I got off the phone call, instead of going back to the vacuum, back I came to the computer to check the Disboards. :sad2: So, I realise I have an addiction and figure it's time to come clean. Anyone else like me? :rotfl2:

DISaholic??

:scratchin What's that? :confused3

Nope. No one here with an addiction like that at all....nope....

But ask me again when I hit 75K posts. :lmao:

Yes, I realise this is what I do - browse all night on the phone but dont actually post anything until I get to a computer. If this is what we are all doing - there wont be anything left to read. (there is no emoticons on the phone either)

:rolleyes1 My arvo today consisted of Edit a photo on Disney photopass read the disboards check the price of Disney Mediterranean cruises edit a photo check disboards :eek:OH Boy it's actually embarrassing to admit:rotfl:

Whilst i am at it i may as well admit i did pay for wifi on one of our Southwest flights and i did spend most of the time on the disboards:rotfl2:

It's sad to admit I'm starting to know the smiley codes because I'm usually posting from my phone unless it's a Saturday when I'm at work :rotfl2:

Oooh Franrose, a delayed TR is just as good to read as a recent TR! Yes, please give it a go as I have always wondered how your trip went. :cool1: You might find that thinking back to that trip is actually helpful with planning your next one :thumbsup2

Well done on coming clean about your addiction :rotfl2:

Actually the first people I expected would put their hands up were you, PrincessInOz and AustralianKaren (but she is away)! :worship:

Yes, that is a true Disoholic afternoon :thumbsup2

And that is a sure sign of Disohoicism :lmao:

Sadly, 3D life sometimes rudely interrupts my 2D addiction.

Hope Karen is having a nice time and isn't suffering too badly from the withdrawal symptoms. ::yes::

What a great thread. I'm so pleased I'm not the only obsessive traveller out there.
I get obsessed with any holiday I book, but this 2013 WDW holiday seems to be taking the cake. I'm constantly checking websites such as this, I've hired every book I can find on Florida from the library, and I scour You Tube for videos of rides etc. Yet it's so frustrating that no one around me is interested in discussing any of this with me. If I go on about it too much they'll think I'm batty

It's lovely to discover that there are people as batty as me :goodvibes

Oh WanderlustNZ, that was totally me when I was planning our WDW trip. I too love planning holidays but nothing (even Europe) comes anywhere close to the pleasure I had planning our WDW one. Not so much in our part of the world (except for our special ANZAC group on here) but in the UK and especially in the US, there are so many WDW-obsessed people and that means you never run out of things to read. From WDW dedicated websites to WDW blogs to WDW Food Porn sites to WDW TR's - they are all there. It certainly started an obsession in me that just grew and grew and that, as you can tell, I'm finding impossible to shake! :rotfl2:

Just got a iPad for my birthday - first two apps I downloaded, Disboards and Disneyland Explorer (love that) - so, no - I'm not addicted at all.....:rotfl2:

Meekly putting my hand up to confess to this addiction, one that has seemed to have gotten worse with the installation of the app :cloud9:

Incidentally, I'm on because I came in here to return the marker pen to the drawer near the laptop after marking lunch containers for school tomorrow... I'm still in my apron, too ::yes::

You know I think I have taken it to a whole new level. Last week travelmum I noticed you weren't around and I hoped everything was ok with you. Sometimes people are quite regular posters here and they have there trip and don't come back on the boards again, but I was thinking about the regulars and how we wouldn't know if something were to happen to them.

Aussietravellers are you OK?

Queenie hasn't been around for a while either?
