My mom got the Tree up...

I go downstairs...I hear Christmas music playing, loudly. So I try to find the source to turn it down a tad. I peek in the wreck room and I see that my mom was setting up the Christmas tree (It's fake). I was like "Isn't it a little early to be putting up the tree? Lights? Fine. Decorations. Fine. But the tree??? She's like "It's never too early!!!" and pursues putting up the tree. My dad is hanging the lights as I type. I mean, it's not even Thanksgiving yet!



Does anybody else have any Christmas decor out?

I tried to get my husband to hang lights today and he wouldnt do it. He works Thanksgiving weekend so not sure when it will get done. We don't have a tree yet because we do the real kind.

I keep a little Christmas out all year, but the big glut of stuff comes out after Thanksgiving.

I am thinking of starting with the trees (I have two) next week. It is NOT a one-day job, with all of the kids activities, my work, and so on. It takes a couple of days, if I work in spurts.
I want to put up the one in the living room first--the "Disney" tree (also other copyrighted characters, Snoopy, etc.)--because BIL is coming for Thanksgiving and is one of those "not until after Thanksgiving" people. If I put up the family room tree w/ the village it would be where everyone would see it during dinner.
