My mini-me for my Mom

This is the bunny I'm doing as a mini-me for my Mom, although my ears aren't quite as big:

I've bought all the silk material to make a mini Maggie Sottero Capri Royale dress for it, organza for the veil and the crystals so sew on, the net for it's petticoat and the material for it's bag.

Not quite sure how I'm going to do the dress yet but I've bought some cotton material to do a few trial runs. I'm a bit of a dab hand with a needle and thread so I'm hoping I can do it. I've bought some crystals to put on the skirt where the pick-ups are and some white ribbon to lace the back of the bodice.

I'm not sure if you can see but it has a necklace and a bracelet - I actually spent more on this than I did on my own wedding jewellery!

My mom gave me a teddy bear at my first wedding that she had dressed in a wedding dress so I'm going to do this one for her and give it to her at the reception. I've got a gold and diamond bracelet to put in the bunny's bag that is a very similar style to my wedding ring and I know she will love it.

Seriously though, she will be soooo cute when she's fully clothed and it's a really lovely and thoughtful gift, just don't spend more on her outfit than yours!
