My MIL might be bringing DS home without us, what will she need?

Okay, we are planning to go to WDW in November. We are going for 2 weeks. However, DS grades seem to be sliding and now we are reconsidering pulling him out of school for the full 2 weeks. My MIL and SIL are going to be coming down for only a week of our vacation and then returning home on a direct flight. My DH and I were considering having DS return home with them so he doesn't miss so much school. Anything out of the ordinary that we might need to provide them with if DS returns with them? Letter of permission etc.?

Yes you will require a letter and it should be notarized. They will of course also require his passport.

I'd wait to see how things are by then. You are looking at a new school year and maybe after having had the summer off, he will pull his weight by then.

My guys had homework to do while we were on vacation and although it's not the most fun thing, they both went back to school and were not behind at all. If you give the school plenty of notice, they can and do help out with this too. Just ask them where he needs the extra help and start working on it now so that by November he's up to speed.
