My ** Memories of Ma **Pre-Trip Report

I went in January this year and it was BEAUTIFUL! I didn't even need a fleece and we wore shorts everyday
I am hoping that the weather will be delightful, but right now, nearly anything is compared to Chicago! so cold! buuuuuurrrrrr!!!!!

I hope the weather is that good! I am already in cold weather with some snow on the ground! I live in Central NY (Not The City) and I can't wait to escape to the warmth!

I finally wrote down the countdown on my white boards all over my dorm
with little mickey heads everywhere!

so I have to let you all in on what I believe to be the biggest sign to go to disney world!
every Sunday night at 11pm before the first day of finals at my college we have a pancake "breakfast" in our dining hall
well this is the first year they chose to do a themed breakfast
and guess what it is

WALT DISNEY WORLD TOURIST!!!!
the best dressed disney tourist gets a prize!
guess who owns ears, a lanyard and disney shirts?!


THIS GIRL!
I could not believe it what I saw the poster!
it was like jaw dropping-haha mom must be in on this type of thing

all signs point to
DISNEY WORLD!!!!!



I got my work schedule for next week & let's just say
I will definitely be needing my vacation
I work Monday 3-7
Wednesday 2:45-11
Thanksgiving 10am-10pm!
Black Friday 6:45 AM-3
and then I am
OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
until I leave Disney

*sad because I would be leaving disney, definitely not sad to be off

so I figure that Saturday before I leave my dad & I will see the
MUPPETS!
what better way than that to begin my disney trip?!
and then get my nails, toes & eyebrows done
I get this glittery gel put on my nails *I did it for my birthday, best ever!*

of course I have to look my best for Mickey

you know what I just realized....

I'm NINE days away.

I'm really nine days.

okay so here is my line up as of now:

arrival day has not changed, usually my MGM day never does
so 50s & yacht has survived

my first full day Monday 11/28
also stayed the same with Liberty Tree & Artisit Point

Tuesday 11/29 has changed
still Yak & Yeti for lunch
and debating on whether or not I go to the party
I will eat dinner at Kona Cafe and watch the fireworks from the beach

then my Wednesday at EPCOT has changed
Lunch is at LE Cellier *which I am SUPER excited about*
and I just booked the Coral Reef for the Candlelight Processional
for two dining credits. I really, really loved the CR last time and was bummed that getting Le Cellier meant bumping CR, but when I thought about how much I wanted to do the processional package I figured, why not?!

so since I had to axe Narcoossees (I am allergic to sea food anyway, and I will be eating MORE than enough steak)
I added Tony's back to my last meal at MK on my departure day

any suggestions?

Did on-line check in for Pop this morning. Got kinda sad doing it because I'd really rather be actually checking in. This time next Saturday I'll be on the road.

I did add another dining ressie for Tuesday evening at 1900 Park Fare since that is my day off from the parks. I'm going to ban myself from the Disney website so I'm not tempted to make anymore changes! As far as the MVMCP, I did it last year and for me it was just OK. It's something that I can say I've done but I'll be alright if I never go again.

That's so exciting about the pancake breakfast. Make sure to get a picture of your winning outfit.

I am jealous!
I think I will do the MVMCP just to take pictures and be in the spirit and at my OWN pace
so now I have the dilemma one an EXTRA dining credit...
to do breakfast one day or do Brown Derby for lunch day of arrival. but I don't want to give up 50s.

sold for that night
I was going to wait for the day of but since she said that it was
almost sold out I jumped on the ticket
so now I have a dilemma
I won't eat dinner that night *or at least a real diinner*

since I don't know what else I would use a credit on

I didn't know that they could give you a % of where they are as far as MVMCP sales! That's what I need to do tomorrow, call and find out how far along they are with sell out for Dec 16th. (I may be changing my schedule around a little bit, too.)

I know, I think it was just a tactic to scare me into thinking if I waited I wouldn't get a ticket, but it worked! haha I would think the 16th might sell out since the 18th already did

I have a review for my media final tonight so I have to leave work early
so I'm working a silly 3 hour shift to cover for my manager while she's at a doctor's appointment

I cannot express how EXCITED I am for MVMCP!
I keep reading some negative reviews, but I always take those with a grain of salt. I know how to make anything a good time and I LOVE Christmas things! Plus, I have my outfit & a glowing necklace. Accuweather says the low will be 56 so I have one of my fleeces incase it gets cold

I have an extra meal credit
so I may just get a quick service meal at POP while I am
relaxing between AK & MVMCP

I mean, I would LOVE to do a
Character breakfast, but really, I don't like breakfast
so I figure as much as I will cringe with using a TS credit at a QS
it will be the most efficient and realistic for that Tues
so I won't be starving at the MVMCP

The food at Pop is good. I am the same way as you when it comes to breakfast! I am not a big breakfast person but have found something I love at every character breakfast and have a lot of fun with the characters!

I have a green shirt with black zig zags that look like charlie brown's shirt mixed with a christmas tree & a red and gree glowing mickey necklace from walgreens for the MVMCP. I'm going to wear red flip flops & maybe get a scarf. hmmmm! so many choices! hahaha

I did MVMCP last year and while I don't have anything negative to say about it, I just don't see myself doing it again. It is what you make it, especially if someone goes in with a negative attitude already. I would have liked it if the weather had been cooler because the hot chocolate was very yummy.

Good luck on your 2 finals tomorrow. I hope you get some time to relax before having to start packing. I really need to make my packing list and what I need to do around the house before leaving early Saturday.

I know it's crazy but I think I'm more excited for your trip than my own.

I started making a packing list today. I packed all of my clothes *because I have to take EVERYTHING out of the dorms that I MIGHT need because it will be closed until the day I leave for disney.
I'm debating if I want to get gel nails or just a mani....hmmmmm..
