DS14 and I will be there in March and all I have left to figure out is what we will eat, LOL. Our last trip we didn't eat sit down dinners except 2 times, Planet Hollywood and San AngelInn. We loved both. Here is what I have so far:

Saturday - Arrival day so no park, Planet Hollywood
Sunday - 50s Prime Time for lunch, H&V for Fantasmic Dinner Package
Monday - Crystal Palace for breakfast, Tony's Town Square for lunch, Liberty Tree Tavern for supper
Tuesday - L'Origale Alfredo for lunch, San Angel Inn for supper
Wednesday - Boma for supper
Thursday - Le Cellier for supper
Friday - California Grill for supper

Thanks a bunch.

I think it looks good, except on Monday, that looks like a lot of food: CP buffet, Tony's, and LTT -buffet. Maybe a light snack for lunch? Also, Sunday, are you skipping breakfast and doing a early lunch? Might be too much for lunch and then H&V. JMHO. Enjoy your trip and plans.

i was going to make the same suggs... sounds like a lot of food on those two days... especially since most H&V dinner package ps' are typically on the early side (like 4-4:30)

Thanks for the notes. I admit Sunday is a lot of food. Most likely we would skip breakfast and eat an early lunch at 50s Prime Time. Then try for a 4:30 or 5:00 H&V seating for Fantasmic. Of course, we may cancel some of these along the way. We are very flexible.

Here's my opinions:
Saturday - Arrival day so no park, Planet Hollywood -- I'd recommend th House of Blues over Planet Hollywood. Much better food.
Sunday - 50s Prime Time for lunch -- 50's is great.
Monday - Crystal Palace for breakfast, Tony's Town Square for lunch, Liberty Tree Tavern for supper -- Crystal is wonderful and the Liberty is good too. I'd skip Tony's though. What about Whispering Canyon Cafe instead?
Tuesday - L'Origale Alfredo for lunch, San Angel Inn for supper -- I'd recommend the Rose & Crown for dinner.
Thursday - Le Cellier for supper -- very good
Friday - California Grill for supper -- great!

You have picked some wonderful places to eat! I have eaten at all of them except for Alfredo's, San Angel and Tony's.

I don't think that Sunday is too much food, especially if you have an early lunch and a later dinner. Monday, though, would put me in a food coma!

Tony's and Alfredo's are both Italian, and of the two, I have heard that Alfredo's is the better. I have read quite a few not so nice reviews about Tony's. Based on those reviews, I personally doubt I will try Tony's unless or until the reviews get better.

Also, I agree with Terk-1 about Planet Hollywood...there are far better restaurants in DTD than PH.

Boma, Le Cellier and CG are all excellent!

I think that's too much food as well. I would strongly recommend Rainforest Cafe at DTD for your non-park day. We love it and go every year.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. I honestly don't get why people like House of Blues that much. We ate there our first night 2 years ago and hated it. It was the only meal we absolutely hated. We are from South Mississippi and get some very authentic cajun food so maybe that colored my opinions but when they bring me shrimp etoufee with no rice...I had to say something. I found the restaurant way too dark and very noisy. Of course Planet Hollywood is very noisy too but we love the atmosphere there.

Whispering Canyon is one of my "alternates" for a meal. It is just so hard to make up our minds.

Most of your meals sound great. I have to say, though, that H&V is our 3rd of the 3 Fantasmic restaurants by about a mile. I think Brown Derby is best, followed by Mama Melrose, and WAY down the line comes H&V. I also have to agree with others - for us 3 sit-downs in a day is too many, but to each his/her own!

Have fun!
