~ Week 9 ~
I had a great workout week. On Monday I did wii EA Sports Active, Tuesday I ran, Wednesday I worked out again on the wii, Thursday I ran, Friday I went from medium to difficult on the Sports Active, and yesterday I ran again. It feels good to have a day off today!
I completed all of my runs as planned. Tuesday was 28 minutes and Thursday and Saturday were 30 minutes. One more run on Tuesday and then I graduate from the C25K program!! I still can't believe I've made it this far.
My eating has been going great. I have completely done away with processed foods. I buy just about everything we eat at the farmer's market including our meat and dairy. At first it seemed like it was going to cost me so much money (because real food and locally grown food is more expensive - as it should be because it costs money to grow real food the proper way). But, since I only buy basic, whole foods, my list has dwindled. I've also cut down on the amount of meat we eat and I'm trying to make more vegetarian dishes. I can't wait for our farm share to begin in three weeks!
I plan on posting Tuesday after I finish my run and doing a sort of wrap up of my experience on the C25K program.
