I kind of feel the same way about eating solo in WDW. I don't mind it at home, but in WDW I just don't know Have you checked out any guidebooks for solo travelers?

It's just the take off that is crazy. I didn't like it. I didn't mind the going upside down. You almost can't tell actually because you're in the dark.

I hadn't thought of that! I was just thinking that I need a new guidebook because I feel so out of touch with WDW.

There really isn't too much here yet about the trip itself. A few random details, but mostly just posts about me sweating. The trip is still a long ways off so I have a bit of time.

OK that's it I officially DO NOT LOVE POO (or toilet-training)!
The things we do for our kids! And another thing -how come dads are always out when the really fun bits (like missing the potty totally) happen! Hohum-think I'm getting more like eyeore everyday. Will be doing lots of this today

How old is your little one? I never started the toilet thing until mine were all over 3. Was much easier waiting until they were older.

Matthew turned 3 at the end of january and truth be told he's been doing really well but today has just been manic! Think it's because it's the weekend and so he has more distractions etc going on. His big sister has now gone to work and Connor away to gaelic so it's just us and hopefully that means he'll notice when he needs to "go". He's quite a determined wee character and today he was determined not to use the potty!
You know how it is -they want a cuddle and you get that lovely warm feeling (which then turns to a yucky cold and damp feeling!!)

I'm from Ireland-the land of cold wet damp weather-theres a reason the grass is green here! lol

I really want to get over there someday. Born and raised in Maine, but have lived all over since I was an adult. Spent 3 years in Australia and have a strong kinship to that country. My stepmother comes from an Irish family (McKenney) with lots of red heads in the bunch.

The Irish Mickey is for the virtual 5K we're doing for St. Patrick's Day on the W.I.S.H. board.

Potty training is the WORST part of parenting - E.V.E.R.!!!

I'd take a PMS-y teen over potty training ANY DAY!!

Me too mind you I feel like the pms-y teen today! Think I should get an award for fastest ever food shop between potty trips-there were sparks flying from trolley wheels
All I could think was get me home before he neeeeeeeeeeeeeds to go again!!!!!

I have no idea. I will have to ask her. I'm not sure how many generations back they go before you have to find someone who actually lived in Ireland. And my stepmother has black hair, but I think she gets that from her mom (her dad is Irish).
