My lovely lunch with two of the Caballeros

I just wanted to thank Peggie and Leslie for meeting me for lunch today! I had such a wonderful time salivating over their incredibly unbelieveable pin collections (I actually touched a Wet Paint pin...lol!). They also took the time to look at my comparatively paltry pin case, and each of them gave me pins for my children.

The lunch went too fast, and I look forward to meeting them (and the rest of the CT contingent) very soon!

I had a wonderful time meeting you and talking pins! Don't worry about the size of you pin collection (ask Peggie and Cynthia what I said about my pins the first time we all met). I can tell, you are so hooked, your collection will grow in direct proportion to the shrinking of your bank account!

The time definitely went by too quickly though...usually when the Connecticut Contingent gets together we spend hours! (in the summer, we'll plan a morning at Dakota for brunch...the last time we went, we were there til at least 3 pm!)

Thanks again for meeting us, we enjoyed our time as much as you did.
The first time I met Leslie she kept saying she hardly had any pins. Well I can tell you, she was correct. She showed us her pin bag and she had them so spread out, 4 or 5 pins on each page. You have quite a collection compared to her first CT meet. When I look at what she has collected in the 2 years I am amazed, but I am amazed at what I have too. But it is so much fun to have these pins and the great friends I met through pins.
I can't wait to meet your son at the next Westfarms meet too. I know everyone will be kind to him, the group that go to that meet are super.
Hope David and Rachael are not fighting over the pin bag, tell them they each can take a turn carrying it. Peggie
