A friend of mine has a daughter name McKenna, very original I thought!! Our daughter is Taylor Marie and a friend of hers is named Kirkland. We also liked Peyton, but wanted to use Marie for the middle name, and my daughter's initials would've been PMS, so we scrapped that one! Bryce is also an uncommon one I heard recently!

I have always liked my name, Maya. It wasn't popular at all 30 years ago but I have met quite a few little Mayas the last few years.

My DD is Kaia, and we get lots of compliments.

Our second baby was going to be Cora, but "she" came out a he. He's Tobias (Tobey).

My advice is to go with something different but not weird. I always liked having an unusual name.

I am due on 4 months and while that seems far away, it is coming so fast. We have no name picked out for this little one and we cannot agree on one. Can anyone throw out any ideas?

That is my DGD's name except her name is spelled Destinee.
She will be 6 in July. She loves WDW!

DH and I made a list of all the names we liked. We then crossed out all the ones that belonged to relatives (we both come from large families, so there were a lot of names nixed). Then we went to the social security and baby name websites and crossed off all the names that were in the top 25. That left us with one name, thankfully it fit her! We were going to use Anne as DD's middle name and then realized her initials would be EAT. Ummm, no!

We never did decide on a boy's name, so it's a good thing she turned out to be a girl.

I don't have kids but I have a short(ish) list of names that I want to use in the future. At the moment my number one pick for a girl is Charlotte Eva ________. My grandfather and dad are Charles and my brother's middle name is Charles so I like the family connection there. I also like the idea of the nickname Chuck . Eva is also a family name. The other middle name will be from my husband's family. My brother and I both have 2 middle names so my kids will, too. I'm Michelle Adele Elizabeth...I like my name even though there are a lot of Michelles my age!

I also have loved the name Lindsay for years and years. My mom was Lyn so I was thinking Lyndsay would be nice. But in general I don't think I'd go for non-traditional spellings for any name.
