And the grand total?

$158.27 :yay::yay::yay:

I've tasted all of these items before and they are the same - if not sometimes better tasting - than the name brand items - so needless to say, I'm extremely satisfied with my 2 and 3/4 carts of groceries..

It's a good thing that my DGD and her best friend were along - or I would have had to make 3 trips in and out of the store - LOL..

Now I'm off to pick up some things they didn't have - or things that I have coupons for at other stores.. Hopefully it won't cost me more than $25 to $30 - tops - but I do have two OTC medications on that list, so it might be close..

Wish me luck! :goodvibes

I love Aldi. The nearest one is about an hour away but I hit it when I can. The off brands are as good as name brands and the prices are phenomenal.

I love aldi's, I buy about 80% of my fruits and vegetables there and many other things.

I love Aldi. We started shopping there when my husband was laid off 7 years ago. He got back to work after another college degree and has been working 5 years already. We never stopped shopping at Aldi even with our 2 incomes. I am very pleased with Aldi, buy our fresh produce and even some meats as well as all the other products they offer. Very few items have we not been satisfied with and their return policy has been very fair.

We like it even better than Trader Joe's their sister company.

I love Aldi's produce.

Has anyone had problems with their pasta or rice? I find it too starchy when I cook it. The rice does not come out the same at all in my rice cooker....kinda frustrating.

Great job - I have and Aldi's trip planned for tomorrow.
I love their frozen mixed berries - I add a cup to my oatmeal every morning.
Have your tried their salmon or flounder yet? My boys love them.

I have 4 Aldi's near me.

I made the macademia nut frozen flounder fillets tonight. Only 150 caleries, and it was SOOOO good. My ds10 gobbled it up! :) I also made their frozen green beans and brown rice.

I never have problems with the Aldi rice cooking properly in my rice cooker. I usually cook up a large batch, then freeze it.

To the OP, you did good on your shopping trip!!!! :)

I have never seen a Aldis...
I am glad you did so well for your family. That sure is a ton of food.
My family is so very picky with only certain brands, I rarely coupon at all.....

I went to Aldi's today, too. Bought an umbrella and stand for my patio table. Paid $51. Best deal I've seen in this area.

just started going to aldi's only two trips so far but have been happy so far.
hubby doesnt like that they dont have "light" bread but i am tired of paying 3 or 4 dollars a loaf!

the only think i dont love from aldi's is thier produce we eat a lot of bananas and theirs are always under ripe and then never quite ripen the way they should, the potatoes went mushy a little too early as did the peppers, the tomatoes were ok though

I miss aldi's!!!

OP--can I ask what you do with 40 cans of evap. Milk??

I have never been to Aldi...is this the regular price of the items? We love Trader Joe's, but they are so far away, knowing that they are sister companies makes me more inclined to try Aldi.

I was wondering about this too. Is it for baking?

Dawn

If memory serves me correct, the OP, C.Ann, uses it in her coffee everyday and she drinks alot of coffee. I remember her posting about that in another thread a while back.

BTW, love, love Aldi!

I made potato crusted flounder - I used their potato flakes - I turned out great too.

Hi
what's the price on the white vinegar there?

I go thru a gallon a week.

Target is $2.39.

Aldi's has SAVED our budget.
I heart Aldi's. For a family of 6 we rarely go over 120. Usually more like 90. a week.

Holy cow! I thought I was good but this is even better. :thumbsup2 Just out of curiosity, how much did you have in coupons?

Wish there was an Aldi's by me.
