My kitty may be dying....

I'm so sorry for you. We had to have a stray cat I named Mr Floppie put to sleep this past Saturday. My heart is still aching over that.

You will be in my thoughts through this sad time. Try and picture your beloved pet playing at Rainbow Bridge.

I was so sad to hear about your kitty! As I read through all the posts I was reminded of the special cats in my life who have died and began crying. It is so hard to lose the one's you love.

Please keep us posted on how you and Max are doing...and don't count him out yet! You never know. Cats do have 9 lives remember!!!!

DH and I had to put our baby to sleep 2/14/01.
We still cry every time we think about her. (She was 17)
We don't have any children, and we got her when we started dating, so she was one *spoiled* and very loved cat.
I can imagine the pain you must be feeling since you can't be with Max during this time. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

I am so sorry that you have to go through this, but I know exactly what you're going through. I had to put my cat Patches to sleep last November. She was fine one minute and then couldn't move her back legs the next minute. When we brought her to the vet within an hour of this happening, her back legs were blue and she was having trouble breathing. We stayed with her while they did it, because I could not leave my baby while this was happening. This was the hardest decision I ever had to make, but I know it was the best for her. To top it off, all this happened 2 weeks after my daughter was born and on Thanksgiving.

Hopefully your kitty will get better. I will be thinking about your and your kitty.

Debbi - How very awful for you and your family! I will pray that you can get through this (so far away) and that your parents don't feel too badly. They are only doing what has to be done. Just think -- no more pain for Max.

Just got back from the vet yesterday with our Cinder. He's been sick and we're hoping that he stays better now. He may have to have more blood tests. Our DD17 says she doesn't know what she's going to do without him when she goes to college next year! I think he will miss her too.
