My kids have forbidden me to speak of our Disney Trip..updated 5/17

Ok I did it. I stopped thinking it to death and cancelled the dining plan. I added the park hopper option. I just didn't want to spend all the extra money if I didn't need to. Now I can do AK 1/2 a day and another park the other 1/2.

You will love the PHopper option! It's so fun to mix and match days. You can also take advantage of the extra magic hours an then go somewhere else. You can even eat at one park and go to another.

Why I will always have it is because of the weather. Our trip in 2004 was in July and there was a thunder storm on our MK day, we never got to see Wishes or Spectromagic. I was so upset. I even thought about paying for an extra day...so I am now a true PHopper fan.

The last trip I enjoyed having it. It's a must for me.

I decided on it when I was reading a thread on here and everyone said they do AK half the day and go to another park the other half. I didn't want to waste half a day doing nothing

The ironical thing is that I just upgraded to the deluxe dining plan today. Me who talked you out of the dining plan. But for me the Math worked in my favor. I'm going for the weekend with just DH and it is all about the food.

Wow, this would be a fun trip for all of you.

We just got there last Christmas and the experience is really wonderful, now we are planning to go back for the next holidays. I'm a little bit excited again.

Well here in Ga as some of my fellow Ga readers know we have to file with the state as well as the Federal for taxes. I forgot to change how many I claim at my second job at the Cracker Barrel so now I have to pay the state of Ga $216. I thought I fixed it by changing it with my full time job. I didnt know that a part time job could hurt me like that Oh well I will just pay it when I get my federal taxes. I went to work at the Barrel last night and told them I needed to change it now! So now I am just claiming myself. Maybe next year it won't be so bad.

As for Disney I am trying to work on a budget today. I am trying to see what I need to save for the trip. I am using my taxes to pay for Disney and putting up whatever I don't use to pay back bills, getting new tires, and buying some clothes for work. So far I am trying to figure out if we need a breakfast at CM and CP. I just hate spending 23 bucks a person on Breakfast.

How do you know what your having to pay yet? Have you got your W2's yet, because I sure haven't!!

IMO you have got to do at least one character breakfast. What if you book it for the latest time possible and consider it lunch? Does that help you swallow the price better?

I filled out my grandmother's taxes on Turbo Tax (she has her papers from Social security) and I thought I would do it to see what I had to pay for state. I deleted state cuz I don't want to pay yet. But I looked at my W-2 from last year and used the last pay check for the amount I needed to put in. I just hate having to pay the state.

We had a family meeting and my daughter wants to buy something at Ron Jon so she is willing to give up Chef Mickey's if we need to. I will have it in the budget to eat there but can change it if we want something else.

Well I called the IRS over my turbo tax rejection concerning my birthday. The IRS guy said that my birthday was 5/2 and not 5/22 according to the Social Security Adm. I guess I don't know my own birthday.

About my vacation I am thinking of switching to All Star Sports. I heard the AC is better there and my kids love sports. I will probably stay at Pop. This vacation needs to get here so I can stop changing everything

Our Revenue Agency has royally messed with my tax return for 2007 and now it's up to me to fix it. Lots of phone calls and forms, when it was thier error to begin with. I want it fixed soon so I can do my 2008 taxes and pay for my Disney trip.

change in plans with added trip buddy.

So I was at work last night and one of the server's husband works at McDonald's as a manager. I told him about DS and gave him his name. My son spent Saturday morning doing apps online for McD. The guy wrote his name down and said he would look up his app when he got to work today If he gets a job then I would have more money for Disney since he will be paying half of insurance, half of cell phone, and for his lunch money at school. Plus putting money up for the trip. Here's to him getting a job

OMG i came home Sunday night and saw the link where you could win a free 7 day ticket to US/IOA if you were one of the first 100,000 to sign up. Well I thought it was to late but did it anyway. I WON!!! I now only have to buy 2 tickets I actually found the email confirmation in my recently deleated mail. I screamed so loud I scared the whole house. My kids and mom thought I was going crazy or someone was trying to kill me I was thinking about skipping Universal this year until now

Thanks. I usually never win anything but in October I won 2 tickets off of the radio to see The Killers (never heard of them at the time so I sold them for Disney money ) and now a ticket to US/IOA. Maybe I need to go get a lottery ticket
