My Jan'11 Birthday TR…A day of sickness, a night of rain, and a week of fun and food.

You captured the houses perfectly! I'm glad we got to see them one last time! It's going to be weid not seeing Toon Town.

I told my dad to be prepared. He hasn't been since last June and its gonna be a big shock to see all the work they are doing. I told him that the short lines will make up for it though. :lmao:

Both Mickey and Minnie were very affectionate today. Minnie had to kiss me on the cheek when I walked up.

After signing my book,

It was time for some girl only pictures.

Now Mickey wanted to join in the picture taking.

Now it was time for everyone to get in the picture.

After that, Minnie told Mickey to take a picture with just us girls.

After meeting Mickey and Minnie we hopped on the train over to Frontierland.

Splash Mountain was closed while we were there, so I got some nice empty log pictures. LOL.

My mom wanted to try a turkey leg. She had never had one before. When she told the guy selling them that, he gave her a cookie with it as a treat for trying her first turkey leg.

This little fella right here wanted some of our snack. He was walking around trying to find anything someone dropped.

These next few pictures were taken from the smoking section on the boardwalk in Frontierland.

We started walking towards Advetureland.

When we passed by this walkway, I liked how you could see the boat on the other side. As I was taking pictures of this, a lady actually made fun of me. She came up laughing and asked me why anyone would want to take a picture of the bathrooms. I didn’t answer her, but if she only knew how many bathroom pictures I really did take. LOL.

It was now time to debark on our Jungle Cruise.

I love the Jungle Cruise, especially all the corny jokes.

My favorite part of the ride is the 8th Wonder of the World…

The back side of water!!!

There was a special going on that day, two of his heads for one of yours.

Now it was time for us to visit some Pirates…of the Caribbean that is.

Even this sign was lying, I don’t think we even waited five minutes. It took us longer to walk to the boat than we waited to get in the boat.

I have to make sure I got some good pictures of Johnny Depp, considering this is the closest I will ever get to him.

Such nice photos with Minni & Mickey. It looks like they spend a lot of time withy you all!

Sorry. Some poeple just don't "get" Disney. If she only knew how many people take photos of not only bathrooms, but garbage cans and light fixtures! I love seeing every bit of Disney, where else can you find a bathroom as nice as that!

We love the JC! The second you said the 8th wonder of the world & A deal, 2 heads for the price of one, I actually heard to driver saying it in my mind!:lmao:

Thanks, we did spend what seemed like a long time with Mickey and Minnie.

The funniest part to me was that I wasn't even taking a picture of the bathroom. She just saw my camera pointed that way and assumed that's what I was doing. If she only knew about this site and all the bathroom pictures on it. :rotfl:

The 8th wonder of the world is probably one of my favorite lines from any WDW ride.

After Pirates, we made our way over to see Country Bear Jamboree.

Big Al is my dad’s favorite.

After the show we made our way over to Fantasyland. We decided to get ice cream from Mrs. Potts. I ordered a chocolate milkshake. Now what convinced me to get a milkshake in the cold, I have no clue.

We saw these guys on our way to Main Street.

Not sure why we stopped in here this time, but I had to get a picture of Sonny Eclipse.

We watched the Castle show before finding a spot for the parade.

While waiting for the parade to start, the Barbershop Quartet came over and sang to me. The sang Happy Birthday and a medley of Disney songs. They were very funny and it was fun to be sung to. I was videoing them, so my mom took the pictures.

Jessie and Woody.

Every picture I took of Minnie and Mickey, one of them is looking the wrong way. This was the best out of all of them.

Jafar was scaring the little kids next to us.

Making funny faces when he saw me taking a picture.

My mom didn’t like this one for me. Lol. I thought it was adorable. We shopped some on Main Street before heading over towards Liberty Square.

I took this picture as we were walking past and he saw me. So he played Happy Birthday to me and had me press the last key of the song. It was just another cute little thing that happened because of my birthday button.

Just another picture of the Castle. Can you ever have too many of those?

We were a little early for our dinner reservations, so I went to watch the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It parade by Sleepy Hollow.

Any guesses on where we ate dinner?

Tonight we had dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. I love the food here. It may be comfort food, but that’s okay with me. Raymond was our server tonight. He kept blaming everything on another server. He told us that she was his older sister, then when she would pass she would say that he was her older brother. They bickered back and forth throughout dinner. It was very funny. Raymond gave me one of the light up Buzz Lightyears that is normally for the drinks. I got the Buzz since he forgot about my birthday cupcake.

I love the mugs they have here. I may have to buy one when we go back.

Now onto the food…

Everything I had was delicious. I didn’t get a picture of our dessert, but it was very good. I just ate the ice cream, but it was a nice ending to the meal.

After dinner, my mom and nanny went back to the hotel. I decided to stick around to watch Wishes again.

I wandered over to Tomorrowland, but not before taking this.

I’m hoping to get better at taking night pictures on my next trip. I bought a new camera with that in mind.

When I saw this wait time, I decided to ride Buzz.

Since I was riding by myself, I could steer the car exactly where I wanted it. So, my score was a little better this time.

Now it was time to visit my favorite, Pooh Bear.

I then made my way back over to Buzz to ride twice more.

I believe this was my best score the whole trip.

After that final ride on Buzz it was time to make my way over to Main Street to find a good spot for The Magic, The Memories and You.

Liberty Tree Tavern looks yummy! We had debated between LTT and Garden Grille.I went with GG and it was amazing, but I still want to LTT.

I failed badly at Buzz:lmao:, I'll blame my DD driving!

Before find a spot for the show, I stopped to take some photo pass pictures. This first one is of me in the Rose Garden.

And here I am with Mickey and Walt Disney in front of Cinderella Castle.

I searched around for awhile looking for a decent spot. I knew coming up this late in the game, it would be difficult. But I figured since it was just me, I could squeeze in somewhere. I finally settled on a spot underneath an overhang. I’m not sure what it is called, but if you are looking at the castle it is on the right hand side and has two drinking fountains under it.

There were very few people around me. I felt like I had found a secret spot. This came in handy, though, when I started crying during the show.

I know that a lot of people were concerned with them putting random people’s pictures on the castle, but that is actually my favorite part. Standing in the crowd and hearing a little girl say “Daddy, Daddy, it’s me.” was enough to make me tear up. I can only imagine what it feels like for a little kid to see themselves on the castle.

I love all the scenes they put on the castle. From Stitch’s Ohana means family line, to the castle “catching” on fire, it all works in some way. I like that the show has so many different smaller parts, I’m sure each one of us has a different favorite part.

I think combining this show with Wishes was just perfect.

It was now time for Wishes. I made my way about halfway down Main Street. Once again, I found a spot big enough for just me. It is interesting watching Wishes by yourself. I found myself watching the people around more than normal.

I enjoy watching Wishes, no matter how many times I have seen it. I don’t think it matters how many times I watch Wishes, it will always be my favorite. I will never get tired of it.

After Wishes was over, I stood back for awhile and just people watched. It was very peaceful to just stand back and watch the crowd leaving. I was in no big rush to get back to the room. All that was waiting there for me was sleep. I wanted to keep this feeling for as long as I could.

I eventually decided it was time to leave. I slowly made my way to the bus stop. Thankfully, by this point, it was very crowded.

Once I made it back to Pop, I started walking even slower. I wandered around the gift shop for a little while. I spent some time talking with other guests out in the smoking section. After wasting as much time as I could I made my way back to the room.

I am soooo sad we missed the new castle show:sad2: I was out voted on our only night at MK. It was also our last night in Disney and we had all of our packing to do for the morning departure.

I can't wait for Hallowishes in Sept! I won't leave MK unitl it's over!

You had nice photos of the show!

Today was our Hollywood Studios day. (It will always be MGM to me.)

We had arrived later than I had planned this morning. I tried telling my mom and nanny that we needed to be there for rope drop, but we were almost 30 minutes late. The bag check line was ridiculously long and I just knew the fast pass return time for Toy Story Mania was gonna be way late.

We had to stop and get our photo pass pictures.

The photo pass photographer had us posing all different ways. The photographers I met with today were some of the funniest I have ever met. They wanted to try different poses, or just have me look a different way. It was a lot of fun.

The High School Musical show was making its way down the street when we were passing. We only stopped for a minute and then kept going. Unfortunately though, the song was stuck in my head all day.

I was first in line to see Donald and Daisy this morning. I told Donald that we were mad that there wasn’t anything for sale with him on it. He stomped his foot and got mad. The photographer said that’s cuz it was sold out, Donald loved that. Then I told him he looked snazzy and he got all excited. I really did like the new costumes.

After meeting Donald and Daisy, we rode The Great Movie Ride. It was only about a 5 minute wait. Other than Toy Story Mania, the waits were low all day.

I have always like The Great Movie Ride. I don’t particularly care for the Alien scene, but other than that I like it. I just close my eyes for that part.

I was having a hard time getting any good pictures today. Sorry, these are the best I got.

The Wizard of Oz scenes are my favorite. I always liked the movie, and especially the Wicked Witch. I read Wicked recently and now I like her even more. I couldn’t get a good picture of her though.

After the ride, we started roaming around. We had lunch reservations at 11:30am and we didn’t have time to do much of anything.

We made our way over to The Backlot Tour area, but the wait, plus ride time was too long for us to wait. So we started on over to the Streets of America.

It green, we can go now.

My mom suggested this picture. She said I don’t think we have ever taken a picture up here. I think it turned out pretty good.

We were now coming around the Muppets. I love this fountain. There are so many different elements in the fountain, that I took way too many pictures.

We made our way to the Muppet store. We were enjoying all the signs in here. My nanny thought they were very funny.

While we were in here, I needed to make a purchase. After looking around I found…

These lovely barrettes.

We left the Muppets behind for now. I promise, we will be back later.

As we were walking around, I heard some music playing. I told my mom and nanny to follow me. As we come around the corner who do we find? None other than Mulch, Sweat and Shears.

I don’t think these guys get enough credit. They did an awesome job. Not only did they sing and play very well, they got the crowd involved.

We stayed around for quite awhile, just enjoying the show.

But soon enough it was time to make our way over to lunch.

My mom and her favorite drink.
