Did the American Museum of Natural history last October and it was really good. Had to drag DW out of the Dinosaur section which you can see anywhere to concentrate on the American Indians section which was excellent. the museum is very big and we spent 2 hours in there and only saw half of the museum.

Although Manhatten isn't that big, you can end up doing A LOT of walking and it can take longer than you think to get around town, especially by road as they are SO congested.

Elise you might be broke and tired, but hey what a great time you will have! Are you not taking the staten island ferry to the statue of liberty??, im not sure if you can go up inside it like you used to, but the boat ride is worth doing, and visiting the shop!.

What about MACYS!!!!(convince Zak its a great place LOL!!)Empire state building(excellent) views superb, would really suggest going up in the evening as well as the daytime!

Other than that, sounds great, are you riding round central park in the horse drawn carriages??(thats pretty cool!)

Jules

Elise, I was in New York for a week in December ..... there is a fantastic Italian around 48th and Times called John's Pizzeria. Fantastic Pizza's, it's not expensive and they have a good menu . Just another option for eating out. Have a great time!

oh, and p.s. you should still be able to go ice-skating at the Wollman Rink in Central Park at this time of year.
