Luckily I was doing the last pair of pants. So tomorrow I have to get a new iron. This one was a GE-never liked it. I really don't want to be spending $$ on an iron, especially this time of year. Anyone have a recommendation? I do a ton of ironing. :laundy:

Rowenta. Definitely worth the money.

I have a Rowenta now that has been going strong for about 3 years. It was not an expensive model, probably bought it at Target. I think it was the Auto steam model around $50.00.

Prior to that I had a Black and Decker that just wouldn't die and I really liked that one but my mom convinced me to get the Rowenta last time and I have been happy with it.

I'm on my second Rowenta. Love, Love Love them. Never a problem. The only reason I'm on my second one is because I knocked the first one off the top shelf of my closet and it shattered . I had the first one for 7 years and the second I've had for about 8 or 9. Nice and heavy, irons really well. My mother also has a Rowenta. She's had hers for about 15 years.

I just bought a rowenta and I love it. Check Joanns if you have one near I think they are on sale this week. Otherwise you can use a coupon! :thumbsup2

Got to be a Rowenta, cuts down on Ironing, looks pro,
I got mine several years ago at Boscov's.com on sale, free shipping and it had mega kits for cleaning and all with it. Sign up for the news letter and if the discounts are not on the site.

Can't go wrong with one. Takes out the worst wrinkles in less then a minute.
We have them local here in the East, PA. But they have free online shipping codes. the Iron may be a bit more, you do not need the top model, but they are magical.

I recently purchased a Shark at Target for around $40.00. I love it! After having two lower end Rowenta irons (the handles leaked for me), the Shark works much better. I also do a lot of ironing.:laundy:

Love my Rowenta as well. I iron DH's dress shirts and it's much easier, mine is over 8 years old. I dropped it on my tile floor and thought it was broken so I noticed one at Target at 75% off and bought it, went to throw the old one away and it snapped back into place and I'm still using it! So I have a spare in the cabinet.
