My ipod is haunted!!!

Has anyone else had this happen? My ipod mini is haunted. It is turned off and the controls are locked. Every morning at 5:30 it turns itself on, plays music for a short time, and shuts itself off again. The earphones were attached so we could hear faint music from some unknown source. Then we happened to walk by it while it was playing! My battery seemed to run down once when it was not used for several days but the earphones weren't attached. If it played music at that time we couldn't hear it.

Anyone else have this happen and how would I fix it?

Maybe its your alarm, did you set up an alarm on it?

Your alarm is probably on. The same thing happened to me every morning and I couldn't figure it out since I didn't turn the alarm on. But it turned out that my alarm was on.

Sounds like an alarm to me.
I had set mine one day and then forgot about it. The next day it went on at the same time (but I couldn't hear it much with just the ear pod thingies).

DD says it's your alarm. Go to extras, go to clock, click on alarm clock and then turn it off and that should take care of the problem, or put it on hold.

Thank you, everyone! You were right, the alarm was on. Must have happened when I was clicking on things to see hwat ws there and didn't know it had changed a setting.
