My House is Closing Friday!!!!!!

I haven't posted this before, but I am so excited. We bought a new house almost two months ago and the closing is set for Friday. First house I have ever purchased. I can't wait. Does anyone know how long the actual closing will take?

By the way it is three great big bedroom, large living room with a dining room attached, fireplace, two huge bathrooms, two car garage and a large yard with an inground pool.

We are all excited so it looks like we will be moving soon.

Closings can be any where from about a half hour to a couple hours. It depends on how much you have to sign. We just closed on our property last week and it took about 2 hours, but we did a construction to perm. Which is probably more paper work than you will have. Ask questions beofer you get there. I've heard of surprises as closing. They are good usually. Hope yours goes better than ours

I bet you are very excited. My daughters teacher just bought a house and that was all she could think of for the longest time.

We closed not too long ago on our refinacing and the problem we ran into was that the paper work was not at the lawyers office from the finance company. Don't close on the last day of the month. We waited over 2 hours for the paper work and then it only took 20 to 30 minutes to sign papers and finish up. Call the lawyers office and see if paperwork is in before you go. Save a few headaches.
