My Horoscope came true! WooHoo Seat Sale!

My horoscope came true! It said this morning to expect some sort of windfall and to use it wisely!

So I was sitting here feeling grumpy because I have really bad strepthroat and didn't get my new canuckie code.

So I decided to have a looky loo at the Air Canada site to see how the prices were this week.

I did a search on the flight I was watching like a hawk and lo and behold their right before my eyes was my flight with an unadvertised seat sale!

I almost went bonkers. Not only was my seat on sale but the upgrade was on sale.....WOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I managed to get the best flight times!
Leave Calgary direct at 10:20am and arrive in Orlando 5:10pm Orlando time...
Coming home leave Orlando at 6:05pm Orlando time and arrive direct in Calgary at 9:40pm Calgary time.

Now that's a windfall!

I completely lucked out. I see the same flight is back up to its regular price today. When I checked Westjet yesterday to see if the flight I was watching was also on sale I noticed it had gone UP in price by 500 dollars. I can finally relax and plan the important stuff now!

Congrats! It's so nice to see when people get the flights they want at a good price!

Maybe this is a sign of being sprinkled on ALL of us Canadians, and that next Tuesday's SWA specials will be better for December (the current sale ends today)!

I know from these boards that our Cdn friends in the West and in the Maritimes have a hard time finding GOOD flights at decent prices.

Here's hoping we ALL get our early Christmas presents from the Airlines!
