Hello and welcome to my PTR! Not too much time left so I guess I'll be updating like crazy in the next few weeks. Hope you enjoy the rest.

Hi Everyone! Sorry I've been away from the boards for a while. Things are getting down to the wire, so I've had lots to do. First to start off,

only 29 days left!

I missed the 30 day mark yesterday haha, but 29 is even better. That means only 28 until the wedding ! So I'll give a quick wedding update. We pretty much have everything in order. I met with the wedding coordinator and everything's set. Now I just have to make sure I have enough bottles for the centerpieces. I also need to get favors together. And the most annoying part, I have to contact everyone who hasn't given me their RSVP. We went to fill out our marriage license today, so I get to go pick that up Monday. Then all that will be left is paying all the final bills. That should be lots of fun, haha. Oh, and I've already had my shower and my bachelorette party! Both were lots of fun. I had to have my bachelorette party early because my maid of honor is moving away on Tuesday :sad1: (Don't worry she'll be back for the wedding, but I'm going to miss her a bunch)

Now on to the more fun part. The Honeymoon :)
We got Mickey Mail today :yay: Now I just need to start finalizing packing lists and buying the rest of the little supplies we'll need. I think I'll also pre-order the photopass cd. I'm going to post plans of our next few days shortly. Stay tuned!

I decided to combine our Day 6 and 7 plans, so here it goes!

Day 6
Thursday, September 29th

Today will be another day at Epcot. I won't post too much about today because I've already got two other posts with Epcot stuff in them. Basically we will be touring the World Showcase today and hitting up other attractions that we haven't been on or that we want to repeat. I also thought about doing Kim Possible if Matt's up for it (he doesn't seem very enthused though ). We'll see. I'm hoping they have the soft opening for the food and wine festival today too. That way I can start sampling all the delicious offerings.

I did decide to cancel lunch at San Angel Inn though. I don't really like the refurb they just did. It looks darker and the tables look even closer together. Plus there are tons of yummy quick service restaurants to choose from that will be a lot cheaper. I figure we'll just head here to get some delicious margaritas instead of having a whole meal.

The other thing that's different is that we will be going to Kouzzina tonight at 8:30 instead of on Tuesday. So Tuesday we will be at the Studios and stay for Fantasmic. I guess we'll head over to the Boardwalk around 7 or so to check it out then go eat. I'm debating about going here after dinner if we aren't too tired

Day 7
Friday, September 30th

Today we will probably get a late start, especially if we are out late at jellyrolls the night before. That's okay because today is a free morning. We can do whatever we feel like, which means probably sleeping. Maybe some pool time. Then around 11 we'll head to

downtown_disney.jpg

For our 1pm lunch reservation at

t_rex_at_downtown_disney-2.jpg

I think it will be fun to eat here. I know Matt's going to love the atmosphere. I'm iffy about the food, but I bet it will be good. Have any of you ever eaten here? Did you like it?

After that we might hang around Downtown Disney for a while, depending on if we've visited here yet. The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards visiting Downtown Disney on our arrival night in order to eat at Earl of Sandwich and then grab a sundae at Ghiradelli's. If we don't stick around Downtown Disney, I have no idea what we'll be doing that afternoon. I guess we'll wing it.

One thing I know for sure is that we will be going here at 7pm

That's right. Tonight is MNSSHP night! :woohoo:
I'm excited to see all the decorations and dressed up characters. Now I know I said we were dressing up, but money's getting tight and we are pressed for time, so it's looking like costumes just won't happen. Oh well, we'll still enjoy ourselves. Oh I just thought of a plan though. If we get bride and groom mickey ears maybe I can convince Matt to wear them on this night. :thumbsup2 I'm excited to ride the rides with short lines, and I'm especially excited to ride this one in particular.

I just think the atmosphere will make this ride extra fun on an MNSSHP night. We also might do some trick or treating and meet some characters. I hope Matt will bear with me and meet these guys

I also want to grab a picture with the haunted carriage. We will definitely be staying till the very end of the night. Then it will be back to CSR to rest and get ready tomorrow which will be Magic Kingdom's 40th anniversary!

Yay on 29 days!!! :dance3: I'm happy to hear you have everything sorted and agree that it is annoying when people don't RSVP :headache:

Yay on having fun at the shower and bachelorette party - that's a shame that your maid of honour is moving away but yay on her being back for the wedding.

Love the new plans! :thumbsup2 You guys are going to have soo much fun at MNSSHP and I also can't wait to meet the seven dwarves!

Alright so it's 3 days before the wedding and 4 days before Disney World, so I figured I'd better wrap up this PTR before I head out.

First off, I am FREAKING OUT! :scared1: I'm so overwhelmed with all the stuff I have left to do. I'm making lists like a crazy person. I am constantly thinking about everything that could go wrong. My brain is trying to sabotage happy feelings of wedded bliss. And on top of all that, it is going to be cloudy with a 60% chance of rain and thunderstorms on my wedding day. :sad2: I was running around buying umbrellas today because I still want outside pictures. The ceremony won't be able to be at the pretty gazebo, but they have a stage inside the barn where I guess we'll have it if the weather doesn't hold up. Man, I need lots of ice cream (do they make that with zero calories ) and lots of comedy movies but there's no time!

Well now that that is out of the way let me get back to our trip. Here are the last two days of plans.

Saturday, October 1st

I'm excited for this day because it is the 40th anniversary! However, I don't really have anything planned park wise. I'm thinking we'll head over to Magic Kingdom for rope drop just to see if there is anything special that will be happening that day. If it's too crowded then we'll just move on to a different park.

My other idea is to revisit each park and do our favorite things from each one. A lofty goal I know.

We may even just end up relaxing poolside that day. Who knows. We will just go with the flow. I'm going to need some downtime after all this wedding stress is over.

The one definite plan we do have is to eat here at 8:00pm.

Dining_CaliforniaGrill_01.jpg

Yes the California Grill right in time for fireworks! Hopefully we can get a window seat. If not we'll just join the other folks out on the balcony. I can't wait to try it out!

Sunday, October 2nd

Today will be a whole day devoted to...

Epcot-Center-International-Food-and-Wine-Festival-resized-600.jpg.png

We'll most likely sleep in a little and then head over to epcot around 10. I plan on eating and drinking until my heart's content (until I can't walk anymore, whichever one comes first).

At 1:00pm we are signed up for the culinary experience with the chef from Olivia's. He is doing a cooking demo with shellfish. This should be fun.

At night, we might head over to Hollywood Studios and if we have partaken in enough liquid courage ride this bad boy

twilight-zone-tower-of-terror.jpg

Might not be a good idea after eating all day though. We'll see.

Oh and an update on arrival nights plans

We will be either staying in the room or heading out to EPSN club or another bar like atmosphere to watch the WVU vs LSU game! We are both WVU alumni, so we will be sporting our blue and gold. If you see a West Virginia fan give them a holler it might be us! GO 'EERS!

Week Two

Well that wraps up our time in Disney World. On Monday we will be checking out.:guilty: But don't worry our fun isn't over yet. We will be heading over to Universal Studios and checking into the Royal Pacific Resort. We will spend the week going to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. We will also have a day at Sea World and a day at Discovery Cove! I'm so excited to swim with dolphins. We are going to attend Halloween Horror Nights, too. That will be loads of fun and hopefully scary. :scared1:

Well, Goodbye for now. I've had a great time writing this pre-trip report and reading all of yours. I'll see you in a couple of weeks with the beginning of a trip report! :yay: Until then I will leave you with this.

It's my wedding dress! (Obviously not me in it though, I'll post those in the trip report)

Hey Christina, loved meeting you guys at Sanaa! Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip (am still jealous that you get to experience F&W festival!) and have a great Disneymoon! Love the pics of the wedding dress :goodvibes

P.S. Like we said if you ever come to the UK let us know and we'll show you around and take you both to a Manchester United game!

We're Back! Actually we've been back since Sunday, and I've had a serious case of the missing Disney blues. Now that the wedding/honeymoon is over I don't know what to do with myself. Good thing I have these boards to relive all the memories. We had such a great time and did so many fun things. I'm going to try to get started on my trip report asap. I'll put a link on here as soon as I get started.

:woohoo: you're back! I can't wait to hear all about your wedding and Disneymoon. It was great meeting you at Disney! :goodvibes
