my honeymoon is a 3 day on the wonder,,any suggestions for shore excursions???

Hi all,
I am going to be taking the 3-day disney cruise on the wonder for my honeymoon. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on which excursions to choose and which to pass on. Thanks!!

Nassau is kinda seedy. I'd skip it unless you are big into history or shopping, or if you wanted to go see the Atlantis (but you don't need to book an excursion to do that, just hop a cab).

On Castaway Cay, try parasailing if you haven't done it and are adventurous. We haven't done it on Castaway Cay, but my DH did it on Coco Cay, RCCL's island.

Stay on board, enjoy the ship. Three days pass way too quickly. Spend some romantic time with your hubby, do a couples spa thing, relax and enjoy!

I suggest staying on board the ship when it stops in Nassau. Barb would probably suggested a 'honeymoon' visit to the Surial Bath in the spa (I have never tried it myself, but you can read her report on this website:

Actually reading all of Barb's website will give you some good ideas of what to do:

Then I would suggest getting off while docked at Castaway Cay and heading to the adult beach (again, I have never been there, we hang out with our twin daughters).

So these are just some ideas. Like I said, I haven't tried either of these places, but would if it were just me and DH. Well maybe not the Surial Bath--I am just not much of a 'spa' person. But it does sound like it could be fun!

and also saw some "sites" in Nassau and it was actually interesting. For our next DCL cruise I plan on taking a taxi directly to Atlantis and paying for admission to the aquariums for my DS's who will be 5 and 2.5. I am going on a RCCL cruise with my bestf friend and we are thinking of a snorkeling excursion??? Atlantis was cool.

I second the notion of just skipping Nassau completely (or only going ashore for a little bit just to say you did it and maybe pick up a few souvenirs or something like we did.) That will pretty much be the only day where you could have the whole day on the ship (because you won't want to miss a second of Castaway Cay assuming the weather's nice) so I'd take advantage of that.

We took a 3-day and spent most of our Nassau day on board relaxing after briefly going ashore. We lounged by the pool, had cocktails all day and just had a nice relaxing day without a care in the world. We also did the Surial Bath that day which I'd highly recommend for a honeymooning couple as it can be VERY fun since you're left alone in a cozy little room with your new spouse with nothing but mud, oils, lotions, steam, and showers. Nope, no possible way a honeymooning couple could have fun in there. Plus, the day in Nassau is when Disney has their castoff party (or whatever they call it) on deck during the evening so you can go up and party on deck that night and then go downstairs to the clubs. There's not as big of a castoff party from Castaway Cay since you leave earlier so if you want a night to 'go out' the Nassau night is custom-tailored for it.

We did the Dolphin Encounter at Nassau. It was OK. Would have been better if A couple did'nt bring the 3 month old. Poor little girl was terrified....Gee, lets see....3 mo old, freezing...wet water...big loud splashing mammal...... Im sorry , but some people are just MORONS!!!!!!! I suggest if you are not doing an excursion, don't get off the boat. Nassau is a TIOLET. The cast off party was a hoot! I think we woke up the entire Island.
