I have checked online, with Small World Vacations, and through CRO. All packaging prices are the exact same amount so I know I'm comparing apples to apples. However I was hoping for SOME discount!

CRO told me that if I get a AAA discount I could not get the dining option because it is a discount on room only. He said you have to book a package to get the dining plan. I want the dining plan. However I was hoping for any discount.

This is for a value resort during value season but I want to be able to tell DH we got a great "deal".

Try your AAA office for a discounted package. You can't get that through anyone except AAA.

You can get a room only AAA discount through CRO or a travel agent, but not the new packages.

I was able to book the new myw + dining plan w/ AAA. I got the following quote just now:
2 adults, 1 child (2nd child is free) 7 nights POFQ standard room, 7 day park hop option, + dining option came out to $2223.72.
WDW quote was $2389.80.

Every penny of savings counts! Just be warned that you may have to be persistent with AAA. Apparently, when they call WDW to book, sometimes the room discount isn't taken off. You may want to figure out ahead of time what your rate should be.
