My Guinea Pig is pregnant. HELP!?! Update: She had the babies. Photos!

They are lovely; I adore their ears because they're born with adult-size ears! :lmao: Gotta grow into them!

They are beautiful, but keep momma and daddy SEPARATE from now on, we ended up with my last guinea pig because momma and daddy were NOT kept separate for the first week after the babies were born and guess what? Another litter!

They are super cute! Just as wall*e2008 (I think) described them: heads with legs, LOL!

They're sooo cute! And so BIG in comparison to mom. Yikes!

Cute isn't a strong enough word for that. They're great:earsboy:

They are adorable! I can't believe how big they look for newborns. I thought they would have no hair and closed eyes.

Your Mama and Papa are beautiful. :lovestruc

They are adorable!

Any names yet?

No, We don't have any names yet. My oldest daughter asked if we could name them, but I'm not quite sure I wanna do that or not. I'm afraid that if she names them then she will want to keep them all. LOL

Yeah, As soon as we found out she was pregnant we took them out of the same cage.

So, they are born with their eyes open?

Yep, born with their eyes open, all their hair and they are just running around like they are weeks old already.

Thank You.

They are precious! Congratulations on your new babies! :goodvibes

If they show you how, it is easy to tell the gender. A little pressure and the boys part will pop out. Also the distance between the two holes can tell the gender of the GP. I prefer the pop out way of sexing a GP.

Oh the tag fairy HAS to be around here somewhere!!! :rotfl:

Those babies are adorable!

They sure are cute. I would have thought they would have been born hairless - not sure exactly what I thought they would look like and they are up and about immediately - not like small animals.

How cute! We had the same thing happen to us a couple of months back - we bought 2 females from the pet store. We awoke one morning to a baby! The mama eats the placenta thus the lack of evidence. We were lucky there was only 1 baby.

We let him stay with Mama for 9 weeks when he was weaned and so far we have seen no evidence of more babies. The information on the internet is confusing as to how soon that baby can mate with the girls but 10-12 weeks came up often for the boys so we separated them at 9 weeks.

DD had to take him to the pet store a few weeks ago where we surrendered him. I called them the day the baby was born.

Cute little things. Those little turds on the blanket brings back memories of our 2 piggies. Used to love the way they just knew when the refrigerator door opened, we'd get serenaded by two little piggies squeaking song and one of our piggies used to chirp like a bird. My Dd would come into our room in the middle of the night and tell us "Cocoa" won't stop chirping and I'd have to go over and take her out of the cage to make her stop. They are really sweet pets.

I know, right? I remember when DS's hamster had a litter they were tiny, and nekkid! It look a while before they got to be furry. These guys are huge!
