Gosh, that really stinks. I hope Boots doesn't suffer. :(

Here is my baby. This was a picture towards the end. You can see in the picture her right back leg is swollen.
One of the larger tumors was was at top of her leg and it was making her leg swell.

=. The surgeon I went to is out until Monday:( She won't be able to send a referral until then, so I can't get an appt. made:( I'm just hoping that I'll be able to get in soon.

Oh, Brenda. I'll sending Pixie Dust for Boots and you and your family.. that you get an appointment and get treatments started ASAP and Boots starts getting better real fast.
Sigh... Our grey went to the Bridge just barely 5 weeks ago. At first his vet thought it was just a recurrance of his Lyme disease; but he suddenly got much worse. Xrays didn't show anything; but after a week his liver tests showed his liver function was starting to decline. We talked about more tests but Moondoggy was declining so fast; he was so sick. We had to set him free.
Tomorrow is another Greyhound Meet n Greet... I don't think I'm ready yet for another of my own... but I did go to the last one... and cried on the shoulders of a couple of those wonderful, precious creatures! And got some greyhound "kisses" in return.
Treasure every moment with Boots!

Moonmom, I'm so sorry for your loss! :grouphug:

I'm so sorry. It's just a little over a week ago I had to put my 14 year old Standard Poodle down.
