My Grandmother, Great Grandmother to my sons

My Grandmother and my 2 sons Great Grandmother passed away Friday. She lived in Louisiana, and die suddenly Friday. We live in RI and was not able to say goodbye. We also can not afford to attend the wake or burial, tonight and tomm. My parents flew down, but I feel left out. My sons 9, 12 (there Great Grandmother) lived with us off and on, so my boys grew up with her and there Great Grandfather (died in 2006). My heart is breaking for them as well. I found this thread and had to vent. thanks God Bless

I am so sorry on your loss.

For what it is worth, you are there in spirit. Your physical presence may not be there for the wake and the funeral, but I firmly believe your Grandmother knows you are all there with her.
