I need to do some major catching up!!! The news for today is AK is TOTALLY done!!! Epcot will be tomorrow, then just a couple things at DHS, and MK!!! Wow....not even 6 months!! It's been fun!!! We've done things we haven't in a long time, and we found some new favorites that we have never done or seen!!! It's been a wonderful journey!

WTG Christie!!! I know you have been having a blast with your quest. I wish we were going to be down there sooner, but things just have not been working out for me in that area . I so hope that y'all will not get your transfer orders before we get down there in June.

Hey ya'll!! Sorry not many updates lately, my computer has been acting up, and not letting me post pics to photobucket. Tyler thinks he fixed it, so I will try with the pics tomorrow.

I am officially done with AK AND Epcot, and have 2 things to do at DHS, and ONE at MK!! The end of Feburary will be the 6 month mark...so maybe I can do it in half the time I gave myself. Then of course I'll still post my adventures!!!!

Hey Teek!!! Yea, been having fun, being busy, the usual!! I did get the pics loaded today to photobucket, so get ready for lots of updates!!

Alright, time for some major updating!!!

We left off right before Christmas, well, we decided to head over on Dec 23rd, to see the christmas parade. We hit Chris's usual smoking area, and he found this guy. He had to get on my leg. Thank GOD it's not a spider!! I would have been moving like I shouldn't be!!

And, here I am with my lovely Tigger Santa hat!

I got a video of the parade, but it's too long to fit. Plus, I had this little girl behind me STOMPING to the beat on the back of my chair!! So Chris asked nicely for the girl to stop, and quietly so I didn't get us griping on the video LOL

We then went to DHS, Got Tyler trying to drive over to DHS LOL

NOT YET baby....not yet!! LOL We rode TSM, and then went and saw the Osborne lights.

After that we headed home, slept in on Christmas Eve.

Christmas eve we stayed home, and had fun with just the family. We let Tyler open one present, and Chris picked it, it was the helicopter he got down in Miami.

He really enjoyed it, and our old dog had to get in on the fun LOL

So Christmas morning comes, and USUALLY, like the past, 12 years of christmas mornings, we've had to drag Tyler out of bed. So, was talking with my family, kidding around that he sleeps in....and guess what?? For the FIRST TIME IN HIS LIFE he woke up before us on Christmas!!! So, we made him get some clothes on, told him didn't want pictures of you opening your presents in your undies!!! So, here's him opening some stuff.

Then we opened presents from Chris's niece Amanda.

She got me a black Tigger jacket!! I saw this in Walmart, and didn't get it, since I was shopping for the kids LOL

Chris got garlic pistachios.

So, we headed out, dropped off some cookies to my old guy, and the gifts for the exchange for my dad's side of the family, and then headed to Aunt Donna's for dinner. She made a pork roast, mashed taters, green beans, the works!! It was ALL good!! Then, we opened presents!!

Us 2 gimps had the little couch. The one in black is my Aunt Judi. She's the one that has this MD really bad. We've been talking alot more since the universal day when I walked and killed myself. So things went really well on Christmas!! Chris met Sami's mom off of the highway, and we got to take Sami home with us!! WOOHOO!!! She opened all her presents, and all was good.

I know huh? It's gonna be weird walking into a park and not hearing Chris or Tyler grumping about what HAD to be done!! LOL

Awesome time with them girls!! Mary's girls are adorable, and Caylee found a good spot right on my lap!! Very fun times!! They even helped by watching Little Mermaid with me, since that was one I needed for my quest. So, they officially helped!!

He's the old man of the house, we've had him for 8 years, and he's 13 years old. We have a black lab as well, and a black cat. The old man likes to be with us, wherever we're at in the house, and in the middle of everything. I am surprised the cat wasn't out, he likes the paper!! LOL

We saw the osborne lights twice this year, and of course, always awesome!!! Can't be Christmas without seeing those!!!

I left off with us getting Sami, we figured it would be easier on Kim to meet her in Daytona by Aunt Donna's house, rather than have her drive all the way to Cocoa, another hour south. We try to save each other and meet each other as much as we can. It's a good system we got going on LOL Kim has actually been coming with us alot more often, so she's in the next few updates. I'm gonna finish up with Christmas, and then move on.

Now, I'm gonna paint a mental picture here, ya'll know I got a new powerchair from my old guy, and we went to St Augustine with friends one weekend. Now, we have a cooler, that we take with us to Disney, well, we took drinks with us to St Augustine, so we had THAT on the back of my chair. We did a little Christmas shopping, so we had THAT in the bad under my chair. Well, Sami likes the game Kingdom Hearts, and has been playing it for as long as I can remember. Well...in St Augustine, we found a full life size key blade from KH!!!

So...where to put it?? Too big for the basket, too awkward to carry around, so Chris puts it in the back with the cooler holding it in....sticking up behind my head!! I SOOOO wish I had the camera for that, cause I had to be looking silly!!!!

Anyways, when we got home, we gave Sami her stuff from us. We got both kids new ipods, and hoodies that play the ipods thru the strings in the hoods. Tyler got legos and toys, Sami is always hard to buy for, cause she's at that strange teenage stage where toys are too young, and she has all the video games on the planet, so what to get her? Kim didn't think she'd like the ipod, uh, HELLO!!! TEENAGER!!! LOL Anyways, she loves it!! LOL SO to KIM!! HAHA

So the day after Christmas, we headed to AK, since that is Sami's favorite park. I needed a couple things from this park, the parade, and the conservation area. So, we headed straight back to the train, and got on.

I saw this Minnie in the window, and thought of our great niece Sara.

Sami got to pet a snake.

And Tyler of course being Tyler!!

we went into the area to pet the sheep and goats, I just took pictures, didn't wanna touch anything, or anyone LOL

They now have a couple of donkeys over there!!

So, Tyler left the area early, and kept my seat warm.

And Chris DID touch somethings, so he had to wash up.

after we left that area, we got in line for the Safari. The handicapped line was kinda long, but we knew that was gonna happen, so we waited. Sami was standing along the side, and a CM came up behind her, and she didn't hear him, cause she had her strings in her ears!! We got a good laugh when he photobombed me!!!

Tyler didn't charge his ipod, so he was without for this day LOL

I stayed in my chair, been doing that a lot on the safari, cause it beats the crap out of me. It's a little more comfy in my chair. We saw lots of animals out, I took pics, but didn't upload them, cause we have MILLIONS of safari pics LOL

After the safari, we went and had lunch. We've been bringing sandwiches lately, and with us doing that, I really think Disney is starting to LOSE money with us!! LOL But, they let us bring it in!!

After lunch, we headed towards Dinoland. The wait for triceratop spin was too long, so we went to the boneyard to play in the digsite.

After that, the kids wanted to play games, and I needed that for the quest too, so we went. Did you know they require tickets now? Maybe it was because that day was to be busy, but the game attendants weren't taking cash at all.

Here's what the kids won. They beat me LOL

Tyler got a red dragon, that he gave to our lab Mollie, and it's now a bunch of fluff in the bottom of her crate!!

Sami got a black bat AND a purple turtle!!! She said the turtle looked retarded, but we quickly corrected her to not say that in public like that!! Just what we need, someone overhearing us, and griping at us!!

We then headed to EE. Can't go to AK without going on EE!!!

After EE, we went to find a spot for the parade. We don't normally watch the AK parade, and weren't sure where the HC seating was at. But, we found it, and had a good seat. We were beside a really nice couple from the Tampa area, and talked with them for quite a while. He had had one leg amputated, and was in a manual chair. I commended him for being able to wheel himself around, and we talked about my condition a bit, he did say if he had to guess it would have been some type of muscular problem, just from the way I play with my hair LOL

Anyways, the parade came, so we watched, and cheered. One CM kept walking in front of us, telling the drivers and performers to either slow down, or speed up, or put more distance between them and the one in front of them. Kinda neat to see that aspect of it.

I had never seen this parade, so it was cool to watch.

After the parade, we hopped to MK. The camera battery had died, so was without a camera again.

We rode the Tomorrowland Speedway, and I got stuck, of course!! Then we rode SM, and I got stuck again!!! I felt horribly embarrassed!!! But, all was well. We ate, rode WTP, and then called it a night. We were tired, and I was cold!! LOL Next up, Disney Quest with BOTH kids, and Epcot!!

I really love laphuggers!!! It's quite a bit harder with an electric chair then it was with the manual tho. But I think that's what little Caylee loved so much, was the power....no, wait, she liked the horn!!

Jan 30th we decided to take the kids to Disney Quest. We've been, especially since we upgraded our passes, but Sami had never been, so we got her a ticket, and had to wait for it to open, so we hung around the shops for a little bit.

got Sami a new Boba Fett shirt, that she went and put on right away LOL

So we let the kids go play on their own, after we did the pirates thing. We all did good at that!!! I followed Chris, and watched him play.

Then we went and had lunch.

After DQ got too crowded, we headed to Epcot. Kim was on her way down, and met us there. We went and rode TT, and MS...well, The kids and I rode MS LOL and then we headed to WS, to do CHINA!!!

The movie....Eh, it's done now LOL At least it had more narration than France did!!!! After that we headed towards The american pavilion.

It was the last night for the CP, so the Liberty singers weren't singing, but we watched the film. After that, we ate, then Chris wasn't feeling good, so we headed home. The next day was NYE, and we were gonna be at DHS all day!!!

NYE we decided on DHS. I was intrigued by the fireworks, since they hardly have fireworks at that park, plus, we were hoping it would be less crowded than the others LOL

Jenn was supposed to come with us, but she was really sick. I felt bad for her, cause she was SOOO looking forward to this day. And I still had her Christmas present in my car LOL

We got to the park around 10am, headed first.....TOT!! Where else??!! Kim was petrified of this ride, and with Chris playing with the boxes in line. Scared the crap outta her, it was funny!! LOL

Then we headed over towards RnRC. Look at how much taller my boy is than me now. I was standing here!! Geez!!!

After that we headed towards Beauty and the Beast, it was one of the things I needed!!

We were in the very front row!!!

After that we headed to Star tours, then Muppets, didn't get too many pics, was trying to save the battery for the fireworks!!

We had a 3:20 ressie at 50's prime time, but we got there at around 2:30, asking if we could be early, and they let us!! We were hungry!!

we had an awesome waitress, and a border patrol guy that was egging her on. He had to stand against the wall LOL

Sami didn't eat her veggies!!!

After lunch we headed to LMA. Can't miss out on that show!! LOL

the upstairs chair area was full, so we were down in front. Couldn't see crap!

Chris and Tyler went off to get our party hats, Kim and Sami rode Star tours again.

Then we went and rode TSM.

After that, Tyler was getting on my nerves, so I got angry with him. We went towards the Art Academy, and Sami and I did the drawing. We drew Repunzel.

After that we were kinda tired and grumpy, and the park got PACKED at about 9pm, so we figured we had fireworks at home, and we could light a fire, and my shoulder was hurting REAL bad, it was time to go home. So we stopped by walmart, got some stuff for smores, and headed home. I was in tears, thinking Chris was gonna take me to the ER, but I got home, got the heating pad, and just chilled in my chair. The guys did fireworks and smores, and had a blast. Kim and Sami left to go home the next day

Chris had off thru the 8th of January, so it was real nice having him home. We headed to DHS on the 4th, I knew I needed to see the parade, so we headed to see that. We rode ToT of course, then went and found a spot. got some crack popcorn, and chowed down a little bit.

Of course Tyler NEVER stops eating!!

Not sure if I liked this parade or not. It was kinda short. I've never been a big fan of parades, So I don't know....verdict isn't back yet on this LOL

We were waiting for Julie, so we tried to kill some time. Got my guys goofing off LOL

After that we ate, and then Chris wanted to try the Art Academy. This time we drew Chip. He did really good, I'm still not good at the whole drawing thing LOL we met up with Julie and Alan by the Osborne Lights, we exchanged gifts, since they were gone for the holidays. This is what I got from them. Georgous!!!!!

And Dana sent me a late Christmas early birthday present!! I was really surprised!!

We talked for a while, and when the park was almost closed, we headed home. Got a bunch of their "snow" all over me!! I smelled like a soap factory!! It was chilly this night, and I was freezin!!!!

That following weekend, we didn't go to Disney. We went and had an early birthday dinner with my mom in New Smyrna. We went to Bostons, and had Seafood!! ALWAYS love Bostons!!! Went back to Ma's and played cards. Tyler even played with us!!!

Next up, my ACTUAL birthday weekend!!!

Love the update!! The pictures are so good. I miss seeing y'all so much . I hope y'all don't get transferred before we get down there in June. I have seriously considered changing the trip again to May 18-May 25th, but I think that is the week of finals for Matt, and with all that is going on with me now I don't know what to do .

I know you gotta be torn. Shoot, I'm upset about it too girl!! We're all but guaranteed to stay until the end of the school year, which is the end of May for Tyler...After that it depends on orders and the new report date. So, since we don't have orders yet, the best guess for a report date is either June 1st, or July 1st. Depending on where, will determine when we leave. It's a headache, and I'm kinda glad this is the last move until Chris retires. We're still hoping for Charleston, or Kings Bay Ga.
