I agree with this- excpet for the part about them being too old. I have crate-trained dogs as old as 12 for the rescue group I volunteer for.
Please, for your peace of mind and their safety, get them crates- or at the very least babygate them in a secure, safe room.


Obviously naive of me but it didnt even cross my mind that they would get out.. Im just soooo glad he came home.. I missed him so bad.. DD15 and DS13 were both crying cause we couldnt find him.. He has come to be like family to us..
