I’m stunned and really sad about Jason passing. I go way back to his Pop Daddy days and even though we had a few bumps in the road along the way, I really liked Jason and his posts, humor and love of the same music.

Im so glad you came to post here and welcome key-note. If you end up staying you’ll meet a lot of good people and a lot of people that really liked Jason.

Thanks so much for sharing some of your time with our mutual friend, Jason. We knew him here, online, you knew him there, offline. And now you can see what he was like a bit online also. A slightly more reserved Jason, though I don't really picture Jason as reserved. As I've said earlier, Jason said, what you see is what you get. And, as you have seen, that was fine with so many here.

We've appreciated Jason for many, many years here, and now we can appreciate you also. Please do make sure to stay. It's a good place to hangout, generally a lot of fun, sometimes some tears, sometimes a few bumps in the road. But, all-in-all, a good place. Besides, it has Jason's endorsement, hard to beat that.

I didn't have the relationship that some on the boards had with Jason, mostly because I don't post that much. But I clearly remember the first time I got a "hey" from Jason. I felt "heard" and I was so honored. I really liked the "rough, yet gentle edge" he gave off. I will truly miss him and remember him fondly.

He was one of a kind. I am so very sad today, which I'm sure he wouldn't want but tough, Jason. I am determined to grieve for you and your humor and kindness. I promise though, it will only be for a little while, and then I will smile whenever I participate in a song thread (I hope those continue in his honor) and you will cross my mind.

I am sorry for the loss of your friend, but I am grateful that you took the time to join the DIS and give us more insight to the kind of man Jason was. You have memories of him that will last a lifetime, and he is a DIS family member that will long be remembered. I know more than a few of us shed some tears when Dan let us all know that Jason had passed. Over the years (I think it's somewhere around 10 years since he joined), he made a lot of us smile with his posts, made some of us wonder about his 'hey' or his 'long post' comments, but I know we will all remember him fondly.
