I LOVED Coral Reef. I got really good service. Tea glass was kept full. Items arrived quickly. The food portions were no smaller than other places but there was lots of flavor for my Mahi Mahi. The whole fish tank thing made me super happy.
I hated Chef De France. The staff were stereo typical french. Snotty and Cold. The Entree was small:A cup of rice with 4 shrimp and 2 scallops on a wooden stick. I liked the Salmon Tartre for my App. You can never go wrong with Creme Brulee for dessert. It was mostly the poor service and nasty Entree. My drink glass was never refilled. I barely saw my waitress.
Room service at Animal Kingdom Lodge. If you can not get into Bomas, Do order the Taste of Boma Entree from room service. This was the only Entree that had huge portions through my trip. Nice piece of prime rib, A good size piece of salmon (twice that of portion size in Morroco), and a chicken breast plus the soup, sides, and bread. You can also get Zebra stripes through room service. With the mango sauce on top it was OMG good.
Narcoossees was great. My Appetite was not. I barely finished my soup before I was full. I took one bite each of my steak and lobster before I had my lovely waitress box it up. I needed my dessert to go so I could not get the cream brulee. I did enjoy the strawberry shortcake during the night.
Due to illness (I came down with a cold) I ended up using three points at Wolfgang Puck's Express. One for take out to the hotel. I wanted to try and get the coupon. Two were tonight to use up spare points because I was too sick for today's planned meals. The staff seems nicer in the express than the cafe. They were not mean in cafe. They were just nicer and friendlier in the express. If you do express you MUST try the beef and gorgonzola pita pocket. One minor problem at WPE is that I was told two seperate stories about what items are available to DP people. One said yes juice no to cream brulee. Another said yes to Cream Brulee and no to juice. Go figure.
