My First Trip Home to SSR, the pain & obstacle in getting there! Complete TR w/Pics!

Oh I have had such a great time reading your trip report and viewing all the great pictures you took. Can't wait for your future reports. You do a really wonderful job.

Thanks, am glad you enjoy it... Now that this trippie is done... I need to keep my mind busy and ready for the upcoming trip... It is the "Trip with the Tribe of a Lifetime" :lmao: For the 1st time we are taking dad to see the Mouse at WDW, he was at DL a couple of times but he was with the "normal" side of our tribe which means YES it was one heck of a boring trip I think :rolleyes1 And the crazy part is mom (The Whistler from the trippie in 9-06) is also coming and she thinks she is "thee veteran" after her 2 trips to the world. Also in this trip dsis is really the main event (so she thinks!) since Sept is her bday! SO yup..common scenario would be mom and dad = you man me woman, lets go! While dsis will be the buffer... Mama Mia! So help me God!

me too !!! I cant wait to get Mojitonice with everybody!!!

pirate:

I'm just on page 9 of yr trippie--but boy! am I enjoying it! :rotfl2:

I'm into the Mojitonice, green toes, naps & resort tripping! :thumbsup2
Love all the pics! You are a real blast, ANTSS!! :cheer2:

:thumbsup2 That's the best part when you are not touring any of your tribe...as I mentioned awhile back.. I might have a rude awakening this coming Sept. since it will be dads 1st time at the World.. so we need to do the semi - commando style... and mom my goodness she really thinks shes the expert on this after 2 trips and she'll be nagging dad to do this.. do that.. your slow etc ... I can just see it now :rotfl2: :lmao: :dance3: :rolleyes1

Hey Timmy how's it going? I followed you here from the DVC board by using the link in your signature. Have just read your whole trip report and loved it :thumbsup2 That lime green nail polish is da bomb - wish I could get myself some. I reckon my husband would have a fit, though - he balks enough at me just wearing lime green tee-shirts :rotfl2: I hope you will be taking plenty of pictures and doing a trippy of your September trip, although whether you'll be sober enough to remember any of it is a different matter ;)

Anyhow, great report - I can imagine that travelling with you would be a lot of fun :)

well atleast one of us is sober.. you found your way here :lmao: :cool1: I see you that your going back in less than 4 months to the world.. I wish you all the fun or even more than what I had... and yup... the next trip is not the F&W festival yet so there is hope for a good photo ops... but the one with the tribe.... well I would have battling knowledgeable tribesmen with me and the luxury of toning them down with the help of the Wine and also food at the Festival... :lmao:

Wonderful, thanks for all the smiles you gave me!!
Bobbi:goodvibes
PS. We're arriving at MCO around 5PM on our next trip. The fare was ff miles, so we took it! It's a direct flight from CVG, so another plus, no long wait or short run to the gate in Atlanta!

Another Philadelphian checking in.

Just found your report, loving it!!

I love the pics. :thumbsup2

I was going back and I missed your post... my apologies... where abouts in Phily... I work at West Philly and Wynewood on weekend but lives outside of Philly... about 15 minutes of PHL 15 minutes north of the Delaware border :thumbsup2

enjoying your TR, will have to make a note on that bench at PI :goodvibes Ok I am now halfway through it... off to read some more... Thank you for a job well done !

Hey Timmy! I've only read through a few pages so far but I am LOVING it already. It's getting me so excited for my trip next week.

Hi!!! Hope all the Mothers in your family is having a great Mothers day.... and did I see that you're moving to FL in 19 days ??? Awesome :dance3: !!!

Ok going back to your question... my small cybershot camera is only 5.1 which is now a discontinued camera ( uh huh... can you believe.. truly one to buy a new one but its not in the budget yet  ) and a digital canon slr... both cameras when I use at nite are def'ly on a tripod always! And dont think I dont have blurry pictures.. I DO  !!! but I guess that is the beauty of digital... you can take as much as you want and hopefully to get one that you would like... even when I was on photography class (only took one subject the B&W class) the teacher had said with every 24 exposure of the film be thankful if you get atleast 2 perfect shots! ones you get to sit along the sidwalk... the small tripod (Ernie) is perfect and a click away or better yet look for those trashcan that are really situated very close to the street and use that as tri pod.... the Wishes...

If we can SELL our house, I'm ready to go!!! We'll only be about 3-4 hrs from my "Happy Place" Can't wait!! Thanks for reply about the pics. I have a Nikon Coolpix L1, which I'm still getting used to. This November was my first chance to try and get some night time shots. I definetly need to get a small tripod. Afterall, (hopefully) I'll be visiting Mickey alot more often, and I want to get the best pics I can!!!:cool1:

.....Hi I just got home from IL and the highlite of my trip is.... but before anything else.. never get caught in the moment... you know how I have my camera ready for a chance of a photo op... but stupid me I was star track (dsis words exactly) that I was not able to get my quickie, great for snap shot camera and so this was the end product....

I had 2 shots, with my dsis I just clicked away but it was all blurry... All I could say was yes it was great... when he asked me "are the pictures Ok.. make sure you are happy with the picture... are we smiling... we can take it again if it you want..." very accomodating guy... Well I was assuming he was passenger on A list.. ( yup he flew SWA) since he was already seated when we were looking for seats.. didnt realize it was him... just picked the seats behind him... as we are about to take off.. I was mumbling to my my sister... "the passneger in front of us is too busy reading a story that he wont bother turning his pc off... if we end up like LOST he will be my 1st meal!" :lmao: so the flight attendant had to tell him pls turn off your pc we are about to take off... turn off the pc and grab his mp3 player "I sighed and said to myself...I hope his mp3 will not be the death of me" soo off we flew... ding dong all electronic device can be used... as he was turning on his pc.. i was reading through his back.. hmmm nice story... seems like a love story.. told dsis he must be a script writer.. or a broadway actor to visit Philadelphia for an audtion or something...he then turn on his side and when i took a peak at him again it finally dawn on me who he is/was!!! William Mapother of LOST :faint: so now we landed... and I cannot keep it to myself anymore I told dsis... she said... naaahhh but he just look like him... finally we landed.. he got up and I got up and dsis had to nudge me to walk.. :lmao: He was behind me and I step aside to let him go... dsis said.. well arent you gonna ak him if he is the guy from LOST.. I said nope you go do it... so she did.. and He was a very nice person.. dsis chatted with him from the door of the plane... through its tunnel and finally I saw them stopping.. dsis introduced me and I said whats going on... dsis said he dont mind a photo op.. grab the camera... and grab the big camera with the settings for daytime and all I did was click and click and click.. LOL not checking for settings.. so there you go... He is from Louiseville, KY and was even commending dsis for working at a Louisville,KY base outfit...so there you go... the highlite of my stupidity... have a good day folks...:faint:

.... I wonder if he has DING too :rotfl2: :thumbsup2
