We were in Bug's Life on Monday. It was my friend's first time to see it, my millionth. We filed in and got the last two seats in the second row. There was a tiny corner jutting out of the row and a grandfather sat on it with his grandaughter on his lap. Knowing that she would not get all the fun she could out of it, I had my friend take my seat and told the little girl to move over one. As I exited to wait for the show to end, 2 CMs outside immediately asked if there was a problem. I explained and they both reacted as if I had given a kidney to the little girl.
Now, you need to know that I am a special education teacher, a mom, and a Sunday school teacher, so my life is all about making kids happy. One of my absolute favorite things to do is send Disney postcards to the children of fellow Disers. It drives my family insane that I have to find just the right cards to match the kids' favorite characters! With this mindset, I felt guilty that the CMs seemed so proud of me.
The female CM, unfortuntaley I don't recall her name, gave me a bug and the male, Ryan I think, gave me something I thought was a Disney myth until that point...a pass to get on any ride at AK without a wait!
Being the true Disney geek I am, I took a photo and it killed me to part with that thing. As it turned out, we had decided not to go on the safari because of the wait, but were now able to go on. I saw more animals on that ride than any I'd ever been on.
Thought I'd share the joy with you guys because I know you are all as nuts as I am. No one in my real life could possible appreciate this like all of you!

You deserved that attention. Too bad they wouldn't let you keep the pass -- maybe stamp it cancelled or something, but let you keep it for a souvenir.
