I'm pretty new to the DIS...only found it a few weeks ago and its already proven to be an invaluable resource in our trip planning. I've enjoyed reading others pre-trip reports and thought I'd try to share mine before we leave in a few days.

My DH and I will be traveling with our 3 kids (4, 2, 7 months) my parents, my sister and BIL, and their 3 kids (6, 4, 4 months), so it will be a Grand Gathering. We have 6 day hoppers, water park fun and more passes so we can go to the parks each day we are there if we want.

We leave early May 16th and get into MCO shortly after noon. We'll board DME and hopefully arrive at All Stars Music by 2:00pm. Once we are checked in and have tickets, etc, we'll head to AK. AK has EMH that night, so we are hoping to get everything that we want to do done at AK that day. That may be an optimistic plan, but we'll see how it goes.

Thursday May 17th - Lots of hopping today! We plan to get to Epcot at opening to hopefully do Soarin before our Breakfast ressie at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at 10:25am. We'll leave Epcot by noon, go back to the hotel and change. Then we plan to hit one of the water parks (TL maybe?) that afternoon until about 4 pm. We have dinner ressies at 50's Prime Time Café for 6:40pm. We'll stay at MGM until close and watch Fantasmic.
I hope we'll be able to do all of this, but if not we may scrap the water park and do that another day.

Friday May 18th - Spending the day at MK, with a possible break mid-day at the hotel for the kiddies. Dinner ressie for The Crystal Palace at 6:50pm

Saturday May 19th - Starting the day at MGM. Lunch ressie at Play and Dine at Hollywood and Vine at 1:45pm. Depending on what we get done here before lunch, we may or may not spend more time at MGM in the afternoon. I'm thinking it would be a nice break to lounge around the pool.

Sunday May 20th - Start Day at Downtown Disney
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at 11:30 for my DD(4) and Neices (6 and 4)
After the BBB, we'll go back to the hotel and change and then head to MK. Dinner ressies at Liberty Tree Tavern at 4:20pm. MK has EMH so we plan to stay as late as possible to enjoy our last full day at WDW.

Monday May 21st - Our flight leaves MCO at 4:00pm so we'll probably need to be ready for DME around 1:00pm. We would like to do something in the morning but I'm not sure if we'll try a water park, go back to DTD, or something else. Any suggestions for last morning fun???

I think thats about it. These plans could totally change when we get there, but I figure its nice to have a plan of action to start with.

Hi,
Welcome to the DIS.
I'm from Wisconsin. Doesn't the SS Badger Ferry land in Muskegon.

Sounds like you have a really packed itinerary. On your last day, if it is a EMH at a water park, it would be worth it. But if the water park opens at 10:00, it's worth it, if you are packed and ready to go.

I think the Badger lands in Ludington, which is about an hour north of Muskegon. We have the Lake Express Ferry from Milwaukee that lands here in Muskegon here though.

I do think the water parks have morning EMH, so if the weather cooperates I think we could totally do a water park! I'll have to run that one by the gang!
