Hey everyone!! :woohoo:

I'm Katie (25) Long time lurker of these boards and sometimes poster! I LOVE DISNEY! But who here doesnt!? :P

I will be visiting the World February 2nd-10th with my DSis(32), DBiL(35), and DN(7)!!!

I recently purchased DVC and we will be staying at the Grand Floridian Villas which I am more than excited about! Mainly because this trip I won't have to share the pull-out with my DN :rotfl:

We have the Deluxe Dining and 8 day park hoppers with water park fun & more as well as Memory Maker! This trip will really be a once in a lifetime trip for me with all the perks!

Our plan for the days in the park are:

Mon 2nd- We will be using this as one of our no-park days, when we get in we will be relaxing at the resort and enjoying the warmer weather (we are from MN so even 50 degrees will feel awesome)

Tues 3rd- EPCOT!

Wed 4th- Animal Kingdom :yay:

Thurs 5th- Magic Kingdom :cool1:

Fri 6th- Epcot again :dance3:

Sat 7th- Hollywood Studios

Sun 8th- Magic Kingdom again :cheer2:

Mon 9th- Downtown Disney day with Disney Quest, I think we will hit up EMH at Hollywood Studios that night.

Tues 10th- Departure day, probably just hanging around the resort until the ME comes and picks us up :(

Up Next I will share our ADRs! SO EXCITED FOR ALL THE GOOD FOOD!!!!

So like I said in the previous post we will be doing the Deluxe Dining plan for the first time (usually I just do the regular Dining plan :) ) I was nervous about being hungry enough for all the food but now I'm just super excited for all the delicious food and new restaurants I get to try!!

So on to the ADRs!

Mon 2nd- We will be arriving to the resort and enjoying Afternoon Tea :goodvibes

Dinner will be at Narcoosees which is one of my most anticipated meals! We planned it for 9:15 so we can see the fireworks as well as the Electric Water Pageant.

Tues 3rd-
Lunch- Coral Reef
Dinner- The Garden Grill (I think my nephew will enjoy seeing the veggies from the Land ride on his dinner plate :) )

Wed 4th-
Breakfast - Tusker House
Lunch- Yak & Yeti
Dinner- Jiko (SUPER DUPER PUMPED FOR THIS ONE)

Thurs 5th-
Breakfast- Crystal Palace
Dinner- Be Our Guest (I've heard mixed reviews but overall I'm excited to try it)

Fri 6th-
Breakfast- Grand Floridian Cafe
Lunch- Biergarten
Dinner- Rose & Crown Pub

Sat 7th-
Lunch- Mama Melrose
Dinner- The Hollywood Brown Derby

Sun 8th-
Lunch- Liberty Tree Tavern
Dinner- My DN and I will be going on a date to Beaches and Cream while my DSis and DBiL have a date at Victoria and Alberts (only slightly jealous of them)

Mon 9th-
Lunch- Bongos Cuban Cafe
Dinner- T-Rex (DN request :) )

And sadly that is the end of our ADR's :rotfl:

Let me know what you guys think!! Also if you have any awesome snack recommendations since we will have a TON of them to use!!

:dance3:

Figured I'd give ya guys our FP+ plans too since work is slow and I'm super excited that I'm only 1 week away from my vacation!! :woohoo:

So far the things I know I need to get for snacks are:

Dole Whip/Dole Whip Float

Karamel Kuche Caramel Corn

STARBUCKS (Wouldn't make it through a RD with a good attitude without some)

I hear there are some pretty good Egg Rolls in Epcot

I've heard about School Bread at Norway... I've heard some mixed reviews though.

If anyone has any other ideas that would be good additions I'd love to hear them!!

ONLY 6 DAYS TIL THE BEST WEEK EVER!!

Hi! Following along.

Your trip sounds awesome. Grand Floridian Villas are beautiful!

You have an awesome list of ADRs! We are doing many of the same ones on our trip in April and want to try the others you have listed.

Looking forward to reading more. Are you going to do a trip report?

I think I will try my hand at a trip report this time! :goodvibes

It might keep the magic alive longer since I won't be visiting next year most likely

I am always most excited about eating at the different restaurants.

This past May when I went I got to try the Luau, O'hana and Marrakesh (I had gone to Marrakesh on my 2nd trip in like 2002 but I barely remembered it) I love the Poly resort, and O'hana and the Luau were awesome. Marrakesh was alright :lmao:

I tried to convince my Sister to let us go to O'hana again but she had picked out some other awesome places to eat so I let it go :rotfl:

I am very very excited about the Grand Floridian Villas! SO Gorgeous! I walked by them on the way to the Spa in May

Have you tried some of the restaurants I've got ADRs at?

I hope you do write a TR. ;)

We've tried Ohana for the character breakfast and Marrakesh (also ok for us). We haven't done the Luau, I'm not sure my boys would appreciate it. ;) I am on the fence about dinner at Ohana since we're not really huge meat eaters. I'd love to stay at the Poly someday. :goodvibes

I try to pick mostly different restaurants each time. Of your ADRs the only ones I've had are Crystal Palace for lunch and dinner, and Biergarten. CP was alright, I just picked it for the characters. DH loves Biergarten so we're doing it again this trip. I thought it was one of the better buffets, Boma is probably my favorite that I've tried.

This trip (as of today :rotfl2:) we're doing Beaches & Cream, bluezoo, Grand Floridian Cafe, Biergarten, Mama Melrose Fantasmic! package, CP breakfast for early entrance, LTT lunch, and San Angel Inn. It seems like I've been changing my mind every other day; I just swapped Flying Fish Cafe for bluezoo. There are also a bunch of CS restaurants I'm really looking forward to, as well.

GFC will be our first time visiting GF and I hope to get a better look at the villas while we're there.

Two trips ago I ate at Grand Floridian Cafe after switching from somewhere due to being lazy I think haha. They had a great burger which had Lobster on it, yumm. This trip we are doing Breakfast there though so I am not sure what I will get.

The two park breakfasts we picked were to get early entrance except it turns out at least one of them happens to be the EMH morning haha so that kinda failed. :lmao:

I cannot wait for my trip, I am ready for some relaxation and warmer-ish weather (about 30-40 here this week)

:dance3:

Great pre-trip report!
We are going the 5th through the 9th and I'm so excited!!!

You are about a week away!! Super exciting! :yay:

From your sig I see you'll be at BLT! Ive always wanted to stay there, the views from that place are awesome. I was considering heading to the top area to check out the observation deck one of the days.

Do you guys do the dining plan?

:dance3:

That's funny because I really wanted to stay at the dvc GF villas! They were my top two choices so I am happy either way.
No, no dining plan. I have a stack of Disney gift cards that I will be using to pay for our meals this trip.

The last trip I went on in May I ended up getting DVC so my home resort is VGF. My sister was dying to stay there as well so even though it was pricy point wise we went for it figuring we were pulling out all the stops for this trip :D

I'm excited to experience all the resorts in the years to come. I think the ones I most want to try are Obviously the new Poly ones, BLT and I think BCV. (I've already stayed at AKV Jambo and LOVED it, the distance kinda sucks but its such a fun resort. :rainbow:

Im jealous about your stack of Disney gift cards haha that would be nice to have!! :rotfl:

Sooo jealous you got BOG reservations. I hope it's awesome.

We have ADRs for Crystal Palace, Coral Reef, and Mama Melrose for our trip as well. I can't wait. I've heard different things about Mama Melrose but I figure it's worth a shot.
