I just recently discovered the "wonders" of making your own shirts using this method, yourself. It all started because I told my mom I'd make her a Halloween costume since we're going down to Disney in a couple weeks and will be going to MNSSHP. She loved Annette Funicello from the Mickey Mouse club growing up, so I'm making her that and had no idea how I was going to get the lettering and the club logo on the shirt until I accentually found out you could do your own iron on transferring with your own home printer, through the Disney Movie rewards website with the ones they offer there.

While the Halloween costume for mom is still pending, I had one sheet to spare from my 3-pack I picked up at Wal-Mart and as a kid and to this day, I still love Rescue Rangers as you can see. So with merchandise and the rest very limited, I decided to come up with this at the last minute after some photoshop work/design and transferring on a long sleeve white tshirt....

Main Chip N‘d Dale RR show logo on the front:

Custom smaller RR bolt symbol with the rest of the gang on the back just below the neckline:

Finally got me some RR gear! :earsboy:

Well done! :thumbsup2 They look great!

This custom tshirt making is addicting, isn't it???? :woohoo:

Hi
I'm new to this DIS board transfering. I've done other transfers, but how do I get the designs off of these threads? :confused3 I'm not very computer savvy, so please try to be very explicit. :rolleyes1
Thanks! :goodvibes

Right click on a design. Your computer should give you the choice to "Save as". Left click on "save as" and give it a name and place to be saved on your computer. Then open up Word or some program like that and "insert" "picture from file." Choose the picture you just saved and make it bigger or smaller as needed. Do a test print to see how it will look on your transfer. If you are printing on dark transfers you just print it like on paper. If light transfers you have to reverse the image. On my computer that just means selecting "iron-on" option instaed of "plain paper' in the printing options.

Hope that helps.
