My first attempt at digital pics and adding layouts to a online album-check it out.

Hi guys, Well I've made my very first attempt at using at digital camera ( a old one with no manual-you get the idea) and my first attempt at uploading the pics. I don't have a scanner so I just took pics of my layouts, you can follow the link to the album I have created. The pictures are not as clear as they could be but there are so many options to fiddle with I am not sure where to begin to try and fix the pic up or to take a better one! I like learning at LEAST one thing from looking at someone's album. I learned that not ALL pictures or pages have to have matting -- and it still looks great. (Saves $ & time -- which explains why you are done with your November trip & I'm not done with Dec 2000. LOL)

Also, great use of 12x12 with lots of pics per page (not all cropped). And not tons of embellishments --- the pictures speak for themselves.

I've always said I like 8.5 x 11 -- but you may have convinced me to try at least ONE 12x12 album on another trip.

Thanks for the comments! I had to get alot of pics per page as I took around 11 rolls of 24 pics and one roll of 36 so that is close to 300 pictures! My album is bulging as it is with 65 pages and I really can't fit one more in it! I didn't add all the pages, the picture quality could be way better but with the camera I am using I can't change that. I also am going to mat each page on black cardstock, it looks really sharp when you do that!

Great job! I loved the paper piecing of Mickey Mouse, how did you do that? I also loved what you did with the safari pages. We always have tons of pictures from the sarfari and I never know what to do with them all. I also recognized some stuff from our swap a while back: cool!
