I found the Sizzix Sidekick - just the unit, not the starter kit - clearanced for $17.97. It is just the sidekick with two cutting pads.
Michaels had some of their Sizzlits on sale and so did Cord Scrapbooking (a Midwest LSS). I got the dog set and the tag set for $10.00 each.
