my final thoughts about my trip June 12-June 22 -3 adults, 4 kids

Well my final thoughts are Boy am I glad its over.. I was the planner and thought it all looked good but we hit some trouble on Day 1 in the MK or getting to the Mk.. I was tired from all the driving and am not sooo sure I would ever do that again.. and I am pretty sure we will never go in the summer as its was just sooo Humid that everyone's temper was shortend and the kids just couldn't get along for longer then an hour or two . And even if your kids are friends doesn't mean they will get along well .. Also there needed to be more adults -while I am comfortable traveling with my 2 kids alone but add more kids and 1 adult who isn't used to traveling alone with her kids it didn't work all that well . it was a bit better when Ruthie was with us.
We did have a good trip but I felt like I was running all the time , we only had 4 days PH and I think that is why . I came home and started to plan my next trips it will be Oct 29 2004 to Nov 7 2004. and Feb 2005 for 2 weeks including a 4 night cruise .Far as I know it will be just us but I have let my Mom and my Sister know ( we all traveled in 2001 to Disney - my mom's first trip in 30 year and it was a GREAT trip ! ) incase they want to join us. I will be getting Ap's to avoid the rush feeling and we will also be going to Seaworld ( we have missed it the last 2 trips ) maybe even Discovery Cove..How ever if someone else's family wants to travel at the same time then they are going to have plan their own travel and time and we will just meet up certain times .. Even though we agreed that we didn't need to be together 24/7 it ended up like that due in part to the connecting rooms I think . So its wasn't my best trip and its wasn't my worst ( that was way back in 1996 when Kyle was only 5 months old in the the Hospital most of our time in Disney ) Thanks for reading .. Michelle

Hi - you seem like you need a holiday from your holiday

It is hard travelling with other people - everyone has their own priorities and the kids will clash.

About your cruise - is there any chance you can do the one week magic instad of the 4 night? You are going to feel really rushed on this too.... getting to port - the first day is a write off... you have to leave so early on the last day - that is a write off too - the 4 day cruise is done before you know it - the one week cruise is much more relaxing - just something to think about.
